Who is responsible

WhatsNew2Day is operated by Feroz Sheikh, the owner and editor. He is accountable for guides, edition records, comparisons and corrections. Editorial questions go to Feroz@whatsnew2day.com. Site help goes to support@whatsnew2day.com. Both addresses are on /contact.

What the site is for

A page should help a reader choose an edition for a task, a device and a known cost, whether or not the page receives a search visit. The current site is a software finder. It does not publish news, and retired news URLs are not sent to the software homepage.

Three evidence labels

Vendor documented means an official page was read. Independently tested means a recorded run names the edition, task, environment, date and saved output. User reported means an attributed third-party account, kept within the limits of that account. A vendor page is not a hands-on test. A user report is not our test. Unknown stays unknown. The method is explained on /methodology.

What we do not publish

The site does not invent reviews, star ratings, testimonials, reviewer credentials, prices, release dates or hands-on results. A missing price stays unknown. Affiliate enrollment is not a matching input. No paid placement changes which edition matches a task. The commercial position is on /affiliate-disclosure.

Corrections

A wrong price, limit, platform or edition detail can be reported at /corrections, with the official source when one is available. The report enters a private review queue. An approved factual change is stored as a revision, and the previous record can be restored. The site does not promise a reply time.

Dates

A published or updated date is the date of the page or the catalog revision it describes. It is not the date a crawler visited. A source-checked date is the date that source was read. It is not refreshed only to look new. Prices are due for another look after 30 days, and core capabilities after 90 days. A stale field is labelled for recheck rather than treated as newly verified.

Assisted research

Notes and drafts may be organized with software, including language models. /ai-content explains that use. A model is not an author and not a source.
