Meghan Markle’s reputation as the “difficult duchess” has resurfaced with new revelations, according to a Recent report which sheds light on her and Prince Harry’s alleged behaviour towards their staff in the UK.
Former royal correspondent Valentine Low, speaking to Newsweek Magazinecommented on the new claims, noting: “It has some obvious and fascinating echoes of everything I have written, and others have written before, about Meghan.”
He added: “She clearly has certain standards, but the demands she makes of people don’t always reflect what’s possible; she can be too demanding. I don’t think Harry and Meghan are in the business of listening to anyone else or changing.”
The allegations date back to 2021, when Meghan was first accused of bullying her staff while still a member of the royal family. At the time, these allegations sparked controversy and painted a negative picture of the duchess’s working relationship with palace staff.
Meghan’s spokesperson responded to the allegations, calling them part of a deliberate attempt to tarnish her reputation. “Let’s call it what it is: a calculated smear campaign based on misleading, damaging and inaccurate information.” The spokesman said.
The ongoing narrative around Meghan’s reputation and her treatment of staff continues to raise questions, with many experts speculating about the nature of her and Prince Harry’s interactions behind closed doors. As more details emerge, this report adds another layer to the complex picture of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
