The United States men’s national team took another blow on Saturday.

According to The Athletic, Tim Weah has received a two-game suspension following his red card against Panama on Thursday.

The winger hit defender Roderick Miller’s head in the 18th minute of the United States’ eventual 2-1 loss.

This means that even if the Americans beat Uruguay in their group final, they will be without Weah in the quarterfinals.

The United States must equal or improve Panama’s result against Bolivia to advance to the next round.
