David has overtaken Louis, who was previously tipped by bookmakers to win the reality show
Coral’s John Hill explained: ‘David has jumped to the top of our betting ahead of tonight’s Celebrity Big Brother final. He has been one of the favorites throughout the series and we are making him the odds-on now to be crowned the winner.’
Meanwhile, the Ladbrokes figures drew the same conclusion, predicting that David will win the show after overtaking former front-runner Louis.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: ‘It’s neck and neck between Louis and David for this year’s CBB crown, although a late move on the latter means he goes into tonight’s final as clear favorite to go all the way.’
BetVictor Casino also confirmed that David is the 4/9 favorite to win the show and revealed that since the start of the series he has received the highest amount of positive social sentiment on Twitter compared to the other contestants.
Sam Boswell, spokesman for BetVictor, said: “Our research has suggested that David Potts is in a strong position to claim the crown, with the reality TV star looking to be the British public’s favorite housemate, picking up the biggest amount of positive social sentiment.since the series started with 23%, while he is also our 4/9 favorite to win the show.
‘Strictly Come Dancing’s Nikita Kuzmin and Coronation Street’s Colson Smith follow close behind with 22% and 19% respectively, while Fern Britton and Louis Walsh appear to be the least popular with the public, which could hamper their chances of glory tonight.’
Body language expert Judi believes viewers would have been put off by Louis when they saw him get a head massage from Fern, in scenes reminiscent of Geroge Galloway pretending to be a cat for actress Rula Lenska.
Speaking exclusively to Paddy Power, she said: ‘Louis and Fern’s own goal came when they decided to style themselves as the new Galloway and Lenska.
‘Their ‘Can I be your cat?’ the scene still triggers, and toes can curl again at the mention of it, years later. Sexually based RPGs are not pretty to watch, and these two took it too far to cause anything but acute viewer embarrassment.

George Galloway once made headlines during his Celebrity Big Brother stint in 2006 when he was asked to impersonate a cat during a memorable task with Rula
‘Fern stood above and behind Louis, massaging his head, face and earlobes in a cosmetologist-style role-play. With Louis’ head in a headlock and eyes closed, the facial touch already looked like an intimate act, but both celebs upped the sexual stakes as their voices began to dip in tone. IIt was a natural toe curler from start to finish.’
