Selena Gomez is upset by a video of a doctor speculating about cosmetic surgeries she may have had.
The Only Murders in the Building star insisted she had only had Botox and asked to be left “alone”.
Responding to TikToker Marissa Barrionuevo’s original 2023 video, she commented: ‘I honestly hate this. I got stripes because of a breakout. I got botox. That’s it. Leave me alone.’
This prompted Marissa to post a subsequent apology video.
She said: ‘You don’t owe it to anyone to tell us why you don’t look the same as you did when you were a teenager or when you were 20.
“I love you. Not for you,” Marissa said, which some Gomez fans found “annoying” since Selena’s face can only refer to her.

Others thought Marissa was simply trying to “use” Selena to expose herself.
But Gomez left the woman out of danger.
To prove there were no hard feelings, Rare Beauty founder Selena responded, “I get sad sometimes.”
The 32-year-old singer and actress previously confirmed she had Botox while defending her relationship with music producer Benny Blanco.
After a fan wrote in an Instagram comment: “Get rid of your cheek fillers or implants. They’re affecting your brain,” Selena replied: “Hahahaha I got botox bb girl.”
Selena then responded to comments on the site criticizing her romance with Benny.
In one of them she declared: “He is my absolute everything in my heart.”
In another post, she wrote: “Still better than anyone else I’ve ever been with. Facts.”
And Selena also insisted: “He has treated me better than any human being on this planet.”
This prompted Marissa to post a subsequent apology video. She said: “You don’t owe it to anyone to tell us why you don’t look the same as you did when you were a teenager or when you were 20. I love you. This isn’t about you.”

The Wolves singer also bluntly told her fans that she didn’t care what they had to say about her love life.
She wrote: ‘I don’t understand… this is my happiest moment.
“If you don’t care about me, feel free to say whatever you want. But I will never allow your words to rule my life. Never. I’m done.
“If you can’t accept me at my happiest, then don’t be in my life.”
