She stays away from the sun to benefit her skin.
The 45-year-old reality star, who has Antonia, 18, with husband Joe, is very “anti-sun” when it comes to her complexion.
And she is trying to encourage her daughter to adopt the same attitude.
She told PageSix: ‘My friends laugh at me. I’m that girl who doesn’t let her face be in the sun, I’m totally anti-sun on the face. It’s crazy.
“If the sun hits my skin, I start having a panic attack. My friends laugh at me and can’t believe how good I feel about it, and I don’t let anything happen to me.”
“I’m trying to tell my daughter that right now, because she’s at that age where she’ll lay down in my backyard with her whole body covered in oil and I’m like, ‘Please believe me! Just listen to me!’ And I try to tell her that all the time.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star previously explained that wearing less makeup was her secret to looking as “young” as possible.
And she insisted that skin care was the most important part of her beauty regimen.
She said: ‘For me, everyday makeup, especially in the summer, includes a tinted moisturiser. Less is more for me, especially as I get older, because you look younger with less makeup.
‘Skin care is the most important thing.
“If your skin is great, you can work on anything else: you can pluck your eyebrows, you can do your hair… and you don’t have to buy the $250 eye cream; you can buy one at CVS that’s just as good.”
This comes after Gorga said she is willing to make a “change” to the show amid calls for a cast shake-up.
The star, who joined RHONJ in its third season in 2011, spoke out about the future of the franchise a month after the reunion was called off due to animosity between her co-stars.
“Listen, I’m excited for what’s to come,” she said. Page six Monday. “I think we’re in for some kind of change. I don’t know what kind of change, but I’m looking forward to seeing what happens.”
“I’m excited to see what’s next and where this show goes from here,” she concluded.
However, the brunette beauty is in the dark about Bravo’s plans for the show. “Your guess is as good as mine,” she commented.
The mother of three’s comments echo her sentiment last week when she said she agreed “with Bravo that there needs to be change.”

She continued: “There are two members of my cast who have played very dirty behind the scenes and that’s coming out… it’s all coming out because it always comes out, it always comes out in the laundry room. It’s been years so it’s all coming out.”
Gorga and her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice, notably did not share any scenes with each other amid their family’s bitter feud.

The tension between the women has affected the rest of the cast, who have been forced to choose sides.
Currently Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral, Rachel Fuda, Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler appear on the show.
His comments come just weeks after multiple sources told We weekly that ‘RHONJ will forgo a traditional reunion this season.’
“The meeting is supposed to be about resolving issues between the women and it’s clear they won’t be resolved,” one of the sources revealed. “There is no happy ending and it’s not going to happen.”

In 2022, Melissa said that cheating rumors have “put a strain” on her marriage.
The star, who has appeared on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey for more than a decade, has been married to property developer Joe since 2004, but insisted she is determined to play down any talk of her personal life.
Asked about the biggest test her marriage has faced since she started appearing on television, she said: “Almost certainly the (cheating) rumors. There are so many rumors that come out about me, and you know what? We keep attacking them, swatting them like flies, (and) they keep coming back.”
The businesswoman stars alongside sister-in-law Teresa Giudice on the hit reality show, but earlier this month it was revealed the couple had missed her wedding to Luis Ruelas after rumours began circulating that she had been unfaithful – and Joe admitted it’s been a “tough” time for them both since.

In the joint interview, Joe told UsWeekly: “It’s been tough. Let’s see what the future holds.”
Earlier this year, it was alleged that Melissa had been unfaithful to Joe while he was away on a press tour and that Teresa had known about the alleged incident for over a year but had “pushed” it out in the “RHONJ” Season 13 finale, which has left Joe potentially “unable to forgive” his sister.
At the time, the source said: ‘One of the secrets was that Melissa made out with this guy while she was on a press tour in the city.
“This ‘rumor’ was something Teresa had known about for over a year and had been pushing for it to come out. Finally, the ending came at the perfect time. Teresa usually turns to someone to create drama, so she played a role in that. Teresa may not forgive Joe after this and vice versa.”
