After hanging out with Travis Kelce at the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe earlier this month, Kyle Juszczyk thinks the Chiefs star and Taylor Swift are a perfect match.
In fact, the 33-year-old fullback even went so far as to use the word “spouse” in his comparison of Kelce and his 49ers teammate Christian McCaffrey, who married model Olivia Culpo this summer.
“I spent some time with Travis last weekend,” Juszczyk said. We weekly.
“With both Travis and Christian, I saw how little I needed to say because they were already doing it. They are both very supportive of their spouses and have remained very genuine.”
“I think maybe that’s part of the reason why they’re so beloved by fans and why people love both couples,” she continued. “They’ve all stayed so genuine and real. They haven’t become too nice for everyone.”
Kyle Juszczyk praised Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce and the McCaffreys for staying true to themselves despite the pressure of high-profile relationships.
Juszczyk’s wife, Kristin (left), previously designed custom Chiefs apparel for Taylor Swift last season.
Juszczyk’s wife, Kristin, whom he married in 2019, befriended Swift during the 2024 NFL playoffs when she designed custom Chiefs fan apparel for the 34-year-old pop star.
Since then, Juszczyk has noticed that Kelce and Swift always try to make things work despite their busy schedules and being at the top of their careers in music and football.
“I think having a wife, girlfriend or whatever on your level keeps you grounded,” Juszczyk said.
Following the Niners’ narrow Super Bowl loss to the Chiefs earlier this year, the Juszczyks were spotted on a getaway trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with the McCaffreys and another couple: teammate George Kittle and his wife, Claire.
George Kittle (far right), another teammate of Juszczyk (far left), is a big fan of Kelce.
Earlier this month, Kittle hilariously recalled asking Kelce if he could use the bathroom at Swift’s Rhode Island vacation home while at the McCaffreys’ wedding in Westerly via text message.
Before Super Bowl LVIII in February, Kittle, a tight end, said of Kelce, his Chiefs counterpart: “He’s a fantastic football player. He’s probably a Hall of Famer if he’s drafted first.”
“So anything you can get from Travis Kelce is wonderful. And the fact that they’re friends, too, makes it a little bit sweeter.”
