Saturday was radio night in Sydney as the 2024 ACRA Awards began.

There were a few surprises: Jonesy and Amanda took home the coveted award for Best On-Air Team.

There was a lot of talk about the rivalry between KIIS stars Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson against Lauren Phillips and Jason Hawkins, both winners of the Best On Air Team award.

Lauren and Jase recently moved to Nova after being displaced from their position by the expansion of the Kyle and Jackie O Show into the Melbourne market.

But it was WSFM’s Amanda Keller Brendan Jones who beat both teams to take home the coveted trophy.

Kyle and Jackie still won big that night, taking home Best Network Program for Hour of Power.

However, the radio superstars didn’t show up, and the producers of their hit breakfast show picked up the gong on their behalf.

On the other hand, Individual Talent of the Year went to Ben Fordham from Sydney’s 2GB.
