Jeopardy! viewers on the East Coast erupted in anger after ABC cut Thursday night’s episode moments before the Jeopardy! finale in favor of President Joe Biden’s “big boy” press conference.

Fans of the game show were furious at not being able to see contestants Liz McKenna, Isaac Hirsch and Robert Voyles face off against each other in the final round and branded the disruption “the worst thing” network bosses could have done.

Instead, the contest was abruptly interrupted by a special ABC News report from David Muir as President Biden prepared to take questions from reporters following his speech at the NATO summit about the car crash in Washington DC.

It wasn’t long before frustrated Jeopardy! viewers flooded social media to complain about the disruption.

“If I miss one second of Jeopardy because of that senile puppet’s ‘big boy’ press conference, I’ll never forgive WABC-TV,” one viewer fumed on X.

Another fumed: “I’m missing Jeopardy because of this idiot, get off my TV!”

A third said: “I’m sick of politics, these old men, and basically this country. I just wanted to watch Jeopardy after another stressful day.”

“For the second day in a row, ABC ruined Jeopardy for me,” added a fourth.

A fifth said: “I’ll take presidents who annoy me for $500, Alex.”

A sixth wrote: ‘Interrupting Final Jeopardy is the worst thing you can do to a daily viewer of the show.’

On Reddit, another posted: “Damn! I almost managed to watch the whole episode before Bidenmageddon.”

For the finale of Jeopardy!, host Ken Jennings asked for a clue from the countries of the world category.

“Until 1991, this country, which bears the name of a river, had a capital whose name means ‘lakes’ in Portuguese,” he explained.

The correct answer was Nigeria and only Isaac guessed it, adding $1,600 to his prize pool, leading him to win $20,000.

Fans who were unable to see Isaac’s crowning moment joked that they owed a debt to some viewers who were able to see the clip and uploaded it online for those who missed it.

“Thanks for sharing, it was a foregone conclusion anyway but I like having closure on these things,” one fan wrote.

Another added: “I was wrong, but at least I can sleep tonight. Thanks, kind stranger!”

Isaac is now the reigning seven-day champion and has a total of $161,388.

Spectators on the East Coast were unable to witness the final moments of the match.

Instead, they watched as Biden accidentally called Kamala Harris “Vice President Trump.”

“Look, I wouldn’t have picked Vice President Trump as vice president if I thought she wasn’t qualified to be president,” he said.

The embarrassing gaffe came just an hour after he introduced Volodymyr Zelensky as “President Putin.”

The Democratic leader, meanwhile, insisted he does not need a cognitive test because he is “in good shape” and denied reports that he wants to sleep more.
