Manchester City star Jack Grealish and his girlfriend Sasha Attwood are expecting their first child together, they announced on Sunday.
The couple, both 28, are childhood sweethearts and met when they were just 16.
On Sunday, Jack shared a photo of himself holding Sasha’s growing baby bump on Instagram to break the news.
“The greatest blessing in life,” the English footballer titled the post.
Jack’s current and former team-mates were quick to congratulate the pair on the happy news, including Harry Kane, Harry Maguire and Ollie Watkins.

Sasha gushed over Jack after Manchester City’s Premier League win in May and shared a loving snap.
The model took to Instagram to post the affectionate image in which the couple is seen posing on the football pitch moments after their victory.
After Manchester City secured their historic fourth consecutive Premier League title on Sunday, Sasha, who has been with Jack since they were 16, made sure to cheer him on from the sidelines.
Although childhood sweethearts tend to keep their relationship on the low, Sasha couldn’t help but brag about Jack.
He captioned his post: ‘X4 Champions. What a team, what a pride!’
Sasha and Jack showed off their love for each other after the match, arm in arm as they posed for a photo to capture the memorable moment.
Jack recently spoke out after his Cheshire mansion was raided by burglars looking for £1m worth of jewellery on Christmas Day while his family were inside.
The footballer spoke of his devastation at the “traumatic” incident which left his loved ones terrified, while insisting their safety is his number one priority.

Following Manchester City’s victory, Jack and other England stars are expected to spend thousands of pounds on “military-grade” security measures to protect their homes during the Euros following a spate of burglaries.
Sasha was with her family watching Jack’s game at home and pressed the panic button when the robbers struck.
Ten family members, including Sasha, her parents, two sisters and her brother, are believed to have been at the property at the time of the robbery.
Sharing a photo of himself with his dog, Jack addressed the incident for the first time on Instagram on Sunday, describing the incident as “traumatic.”
Jack’s family were forced to run and hide inside the £5.6million mansion Jack moved into before Christmas, as police told neighbours to lock their doors and stay indoors.
Police, fearing a possible hostage situation, rushed to the scene and even sent a helicopter to search the area, but the attackers were able to escape with £1m worth of jewellery.
Sasha was left “terrified” by the Boxing Day raid and no longer feels safe alone in the property, sources told MailOnline.
They are expected to spend around £250,000 on infrared and night vision cameras, as well as 24-hour security throughout the tournament in Germany.
A source said: ‘Sasha is devastated by this. Sasha has had to deal with death threats and online abuse time and time again during her time with Jack.
‘But now she feels very different. People coming to her new home like this has left her terrified. She hasn’t been alone since it happened and right now she doesn’t want to be.
“Jack is particularly angry at the impact this has had on Sasha. They have been together for almost half their lives and he loves her deeply.
“Now he’ll do whatever it takes to protect her. They have their dream home, but that means nothing if she’s not happy and Jack wants her to feel as safe as possible there.”
