Billie Piper has revealed how her children feel about her career in show business – and their responses have been mixed.
The actress is mother to sons Winston, 12, and Eugene, eight, with ex-husband Laurence Fox and daughter Tallulah, four, with former partner Johnny Lloyd.
The I Hate Suzie star, 41, appeared on this week’s episode of The Jonathan Ross Show where the comedian asked what her children thought of her career.
She replied: “My oldest didn’t care, which I really like, I think it’s a healthier response.” I think I have a fan in my youngest child, she will watch my music videos and ask to play my songs in the car and I will oblige.
Billie got her start in the entertainment industry as a singer, signing her first recording contract at the age of 14.

She became the youngest artist to debut at number one on the UK Singles Chart with Because We Want To and had another number one with its follow-up Girlfriend.
She said: “I was 14 when I signed my record deal, the same age as my oldest son, which blows my mind, but he’s not very interested, which I think, is good.”
When asked if they liked any of her acting work, Billie replied: “They have no interest in me being in Doctor Who but they will come to a convention where there is access to real famous people, real stars if there is access to Stranger Things, Marvel or Lord of the Rings.
When asked if she’s ever taken anything off set over the years, Billie admitted, “I take things off set, I see things, I take them.”
Intrigued to know more, Jonathan asks, “What things did you take off the set?” Billie explained: “Loads of stuff, rings, costume jewelry, I actually have a whip and underwear from a call girl’s secret diary.”
Talk then cuts to her time on Doctor Who as she talks to Jonathan about the items taken from the infamous TARDIS.
She said: “I took loads of stuff from the TARDIS, the main center console.”
It comes after Billie finally broke her silence on ex-husband Laurence Fox six years after their ‘quick divorce’.

The actress shares Winston and Eugene with the controversial activist and the two were involved in a lengthy custody dispute following their split.
In 2022, Laurence, 45, publicly spoke out about their arrangement, claiming Billie used their children as “weapons” and was denied the right to see them.
While Billie, 41, kept a dignified silence at the time, she has now opened up about their complicated relationship in a candid interview with British Vogue.
When asked how she was coping with co-parenting with Laurence, Billie replied: “With enormous difficulty.”
She continued: “I shut everything down and keep a very strict routine with the kids so there is consistency. I keep them close. That’s all I can do…
“What is essential for me is the privacy and anonymity of my children. They deserve not to be extensions of their parents and to forge their own identity.
Billie previously admitted she co-parented her sons Winston, 12, and Eugene, eight, with ex-husband Laurence Fox “with enormous difficulty” (pictured together in 2015).
Billie added that she was trying to avoid hearing anything about her ex, who has been in the news in recent weeks for numerous controversies.
He was recently banned from GB News after launching into a “sexist” rant about a female journalist and lost in a high-profile libel case after calling two men “paedophiles”.
Still, Billie does her best to avoid getting drawn into her scandals, explaining: “I try to stop people from saying things to me but it’s really, really hard.
“I don’t read it but everyone wants to talk about it. Sometimes I have to tell people, “Please don’t bring this to me, now or ever.” »
Still, she admitted she wasn’t the best person to ask about Laurence, saying: “Look, if people want to try to understand how this guy works, they should ask him, either him or his family.
“Ask (Fox’s brother-in-law, actor and comedian) Richard Ayoade what he thinks, or his wife (Fox’s actress sister) Lydia. They might have a more interesting vision.
The Jonathan Ross Show airs Saturday at 9:30 p.m. on ITV1 and ITVX.
