Ant and Dec picked up the Best Presenters award at the National Television Awards on Wednesday as the pair graced the stage at London’s O2 once again.
This year marks the duo’s 23rd year earning this honor after first being awarded the title in 2001.
However, a lot has changed in 20 years, and during his sweet acceptance speech, Dec joked that the couple had ditched glamorous showbiz party nights for dirty nappies.
Speaking about their role as parents, the couple offered insight into how their ‘Lives have changed’ in the last few years since we became parents.
Dec said: ‘Our lives have changed incredibly in the last six years since we had very young children.’
Ant and Dec shared a sweet speech about their children as they ditch showbiz parties in dirty nappies after winning Best Presenter at the National Television Awards for the 23rd year.

He joked: “Now it’s back to dirty diapers and the school run.”
Adding a touching story about her six-year-old daughter Isla, who wished her good luck on the way to school this morning while giving her an adorable good luck charm.
She told the crowd and viewers at home: ‘My little Isla said: ‘good luck daddy, I hope you win the trophy, take my lip balm, it may give you good luck’.
Dec held up the small lip balm and continued, “I guess it worked.”

In April, Ant welcomed his first child with wife Anne-Marie, a boy named Wilder.

Another joked: “When I retire from TV I’ll still be winning Presenter of the Year at the #NTAs. I think it should be called the Ant & Dec award now.”
On Tuesday, Ant shared a photo on Instagram of himself sweetly cradling his baby girl, writing: “Born 5/14/24 at 8:54am Baby is beautiful, mommy is a legend, sisters are over the moon. Dad is a mess!”
The baby is Ant’s first, while Anne-Marie has two children, Poppy and Daisy, from her previous marriage. A source says the couple feel their family is now “complete”.
A source said of his happiness at becoming a father: ‘Ant and Anne-Marie are beyond thrilled – their little family is complete.
“They have been overwhelmed by the lovely messages from friends, family and fans and are still reading them. They are incredibly grateful to everyone.”
The baby is Ant’s first, while Anne-Marie has two children, Poppy and Daisy, from her previous marriage, and a source says the couple feel their family is now “complete” (pictured at their wedding in August 2021).
“They decided on the name Wilder a while ago but have kept it a secret. They are going to be absolutely wonderful and loving parents and Ant is looking forward to being an active dad, changing nappies and spending time with little Wilder.”
Ant has been candid in the past about his desire to have children and spoke publicly about how he had been trying to have a baby with his ex-wife Lisa Armstrong.
The couple had no children when they filed for divorce in 2018 after 11 years of marriage. Ant and Anne-Marie married in 2021.
When news of Anne-Marie’s pregnancy broke, Ant was reportedly overjoyed as he didn’t think fatherhood was a possibility for him.
