Rachel Dillon has responded to criticism over a delicious meal she prepared herself.

Last week, the 30-year-old fitness influencer shared an Instagram reel of her one-pan salmon noodle recipe with a step-by-step method.

The meal contains ingredients such as sweet soy sauce, sesame oil, two-minute noodles and lots of roasted vegetables.

However, several social media users branded the food “unhealthy” and many complained about the high sugar and salt content.

On Wednesday, Rachel responded with a candid admission, asking her followers: “Does eating noodles make me ‘unhealthy’?”

“After a very heated thread about my noodle recipe, I wanted to talk to you about my approach to health and fitness, and more specifically, nutrition,” she added in her caption.

‘Yes, I included two-minute noodles in my recipe. And yes, they are often labelled as ‘unhealthy’, but I truly believe that all foods have a place in a healthy, balanced diet, and trying different foods is one of my favourite things to do. Food is meant to be enjoyed.

‘Flexible dieting is all about balance and moderation. This means that there are no forbidden foods and you don’t have to feel guilty about enjoying your favourite dishes in moderation – yes, even noodles!’

Rachel, a qualified personal trainer and owner and founder of workout program app Move With Us, said flexible dieting revolves around a positive mindset when it comes to eating rather than labelling certain things as “good” or “bad”.

“When we restrict ourselves and label certain foods as ‘unhealthy,’ we can create a negative relationship with food, leading us to feel guilty and overeat when we do have access to those foods,” she added.

“By incorporating a variety of foods, we can maintain a healthy and balanced diet. It’s about creating a sustainable lifestyle, not a perfect one.”

Rachel concluded her post by highlighting the importance of a balanced diet and enjoying healthy foods in moderation.

“Remember that it’s not individual foods that define our health, but the patterns of our eating habits and lifestyles over time. So the next time you see a recipe for two-minute noodles, know that it’s perfectly fine to enjoy them as part of a balanced diet,” she said.

In the comments on her original video, fans were unimpressed with the recipe, which included “processed” foods.

“It looks good, but those noodles are processed. I saw them being made so they’re bad for you,” someone commented, before suggesting she switch to “something healthier.”

“OMG this is so unhealthy, sweet soy sauce is like 100g of sugar in 100g of (sauce), this is tasty only because it makes you (addicted),” wrote another.

“I love seeing nutritionists who eat like crap or overweight nurses,” said one. “Smh, this is the problem with our society.”

Rachel concluded her post by emphasizing the importance of a balanced diet and enjoying richer foods in moderation.

The Australian fitness guru recently tied the knot with Tobi Pearce in a picture-perfect ceremony held in a secluded garden in Ravello on the Amalfi Coast.

The couple, who got engaged seven months ago, took to Instagram to share a sneak peek of their fairytale wedding day.

The fitness influencer looked effortlessly glamorous in a strapless satin gown featuring a voluminous skirt with a daring side slit and a dramatic train.

Meanwhile, Kayla Itsines’ ex-boyfriend Tobi looked dapper in a black tuxedo for the occasion.

They exchanged vows in front of their closest family and friends in the stunning garden, which they decorated with a variety of white roses.

Tobi’s five-year-old daughter Arna, who he shares with ex and business partner Kayla, was apparently his flower girl as sweet photos showed her with girlfriend Rachel.
