Margaret Qualley has pulled out of a new Hulu series in which she would play Amanda Knox.
The Poor Things actress, 29, joined the project in March as lead and executive producer, but Deadline reported Tuesday that it withdrew due to “scheduling conflicts.”
The untitled project has been described as “based on the true story of how Knox was wrongly convicted of the murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher and her 16-year odyssey to free herself.”
Margaret is currently working on a film called Honey Don’t!, alongside Aubrey Plaza. Her departure will not affect production on the eight-episode series as filming is not scheduled to begin until October.

DailyMail.com exclusively revealed in October 2023 that Amanda has teamed up with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky in the big-budget TV drama about her life.
The two women have formed a “close” bond while working on the project, which will see Amanda shed dramatic new light on the untimely death of British student Meredith, 21, who was found brutally stabbed in their shared home in Perugia . Italy, in 2007.
