Frank, like actor Chris, suffered from cerebral palsy, and during his time on the show he lost his beloved grandfather, had bad luck in love, and lost his friend’s money gambling.

Last year, the show’s star Dani Harmer, who played Tracy Beaker, was forced to pull out of a pantomime show at the last minute.

The 35-year-old actress was starring in Beauty and the Beast as the fairy Bon Bon in Nottingham but suffered a concussion which forced someone to stand in for her.

Sharing the news on her story, she said she was “absolutely heartbroken” by the change of plans and assured fans she would be back “as soon as humanly possible.”

She wrote: ‘I’m absolutely heartbroken that I can’t do the shows today.

‘I have a concussion, so by doctor’s orders I must rest until I feel less dizzy and nauseous.

‘Sending love and fairy dust to the amazing Shannon Lockey who I know will make the most magical Fairy Bon.

“A real treat awaits you. I’ll be back as soon as humanly possible.”

The star then updated her fans again, saying she was still suffering from dizziness.
