Zayn Malik has been announced as the latest famous face to sit down and read a CBeebies bedtime story children’s book.
The singer, 31, will read Music Is In Everything by actor and singer Ziggy Marley, son of reggae musician Bob Marley.
Illustrated by Ag Jatkowska, the picture book is an ode to power and song.
The former One Direction star revealed that he chose the book because he sings and reads to his daughter at night before going to sleep.
Zayn said: “I chose this book because I love Bob Marley and because music and reading are important to me as a father.

Fans were quick to point out that it’s been “almost two years” since the As It Was singer appeared on CBeebies wearing his polka dot pajamas to read Jess Hitchman’s In Every House, In Every Street.
‘Bedtime stories with Zarry!!! Exactly 2 years difference. Basically, Zayn reads a bedtime story on the second anniversary of Harry doing the same. Beautiful.’

Other musicians have also participated in the program, including Dolly Parton, Sir Elton John and Ed Sheeran.
It comes after Zayn reduced fans to tears while performing his first solo concert in London on Friday night, nine years after leaving One Direction.
The star took to the stage at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire, just hours after releasing her highly anticipated fourth album, Room Under The Stairs.
Fans called his new album a ‘masterpiece’ and confessed they could cry from how proud they were after seeing the singer at his sold-out performance.

Zayn performed a selection of songs from the new album after the world premiere of the documentary Road Back To The Mic.
The collection was his first since 2021’s Nobody Is Listening, and has been suggested to be his most personal to date.
He said: “This is my favorite album I’ve made to date, mainly because it comes from a place of pure honesty and vulnerability.”
‘I wanted every song to feel like it was me sitting next to you telling you how I feel, singing directly to you.
“It’s raw and simple and it’s the kind of music I’ve always hoped to make.”
He admitted that being more introspective at the time helped inspire the direction his music took, and that it was important that it be released as a full album rather than just individual tracks.
He explained: “I think just being where I was at the time, staying away from things and living with my own thoughts inspired me to want to write something from that place.
“I have to publish this as a complete work, it’s something for me, not even just for the world.”

Zayn co-produced the album with Dave Cobb, known for his work with the likes of Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell and Chris Stapleton, and is delighted with the results of their collaboration.
He added: ‘Working with Dave Cobb has been an incredible experience. The way he has elevated the music is second to none and he has done an incredible job helping me create this record.”
For the past six years, Zayn has been writing and crafting his new album and it is said to be his most personal release to date.
It reflected where you are in life, while exploring the complexities of healing, stillness and growth.
It also saw the genre artist explore a new sound, leaning on his soulful vocals, live instrumentation and poetic lyricism as a songwriter.
The release is accompanied by the official video for ‘Stardust’, directed by Frank and Ivanna Borin. The image brings the lyrics to life as we follow the singer on an exploration of memory and mystery guided by shooting stars.
Through the metaphor of a celestial being stranded on Earth, his journey reflects themes of identity, vulnerability and the search for home, eventually ascending to join the stars.
CBeebies Bedtime Story airs every weekday at 6.50pm on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer.
