As Ashley sobbed, Zach told investors: ‘Ashley and I are high school sweethearts and we have literally climbed to where we are now together. We started in retail, moved into corporate roles, ultimately we’ve been fighters, so being here is just a dream, honestly.”

The camera then cut back to Robert, who was clearly emotional as he tried to compose himself, before telling the couple: “I didn’t have much growing up, but I had a mother who believed in me no matter what.”

‘And that made me believe in myself when no one else in the world did, that’s why I’m sitting here. And you have that belief and you have an incredible partner, you are an incredible team, and you can take advantage of that trust and sit in this chair one day.”

“Why are we fighting over five percent?” He then asked, as Ashley blurted out, ‘We’re not!’

Reiterating his offer, Robert told them, “Let’s build something great,” to which she quickly responded, “We’ll take it!” prompting him to jump out of his seat to give Ashley a big hug.
