Verify that the form stays interactive
Create, complete, save and reopen
Create a field in a copy of your form, enter a value and save the file. Reopen it in a different reader. Check that the value survives and that the field is still interactive; a flattened text overlay does not meet the same requirement.
List the field behavior you need
Text boxes are only one part of a form workflow. If you need calculations, validation, checkboxes or reusable templates, verify each behavior in the exact edition. The general form-creation flag does not establish every advanced field feature.
