Travis Kelce’s side gig has one major thing in common with his NFL career: a generous helping hand from his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
While hosting ‘Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity,’ the Kansas City Chiefs tight end asked a contestant about Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta’s stage name. Panelists Natasha Leggero and Nikki Glaser acknowledged singer Lady Gaga’s birth name before using that response as an excuse to reference Swift.
“We love Lady Gaga, but we don’t love her as much as any other blonde singer,” Leggero said. “There are other blonde singers that we like more than Lady Gaga.”
Glaser didn’t mince words: “Not even close.”
Naturally, Kelce agreed with that answer.

‘I’ll have to agree with you on that. I agree.’
The first three episodes of the Amazon Prime game show premiered last week. And despite it being new territory for him, Kelce’s debut has been very well received by fans on social media.

Another commented: ‘Are you smarter than a celebrity? …That was fun! Travis was amazing and the celebrities were great! Excited for the next episode.”
‘Travis is as good at Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity as if he were a professional?’ Wow,” said a third.
While one shared a famous meme of former US President George Bush, surprised and joking: ‘They say Travis Kelce is killing it on Grotesquerie and Are you smarter than a celebrity?’ They say he has natural talent.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift attended the men’s final of the US Open Championship last month.
Kelce’s presenting role on ‘Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity’ isn’t his only foray into the world of television lately.
The NFL tight end also made his acting debut in Ryan Murphy’s new horror series ‘Grotesquerie,’ which premiered on FX earlier this month.
And if that wasn’t enough, she even landed a role in the upcoming Happy Gilmore sequel with Adam Sandler.
While he’s proving to be very talented in front of the camera, Kelce’s ‘Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity’ co-star Ron Funches admitted it wasn’t always easy for Kelce when he made his hosting debut.
However, the actor and comedian emphasized that he still took hosting duties in stride.
“I got to see his whole progression and it was really fun to see him come in a little unsure, as anyone would be on their first day at a job, especially if it’s so different from their normal job,” Funches told Newsweek.
“You know, he had a few setbacks here and there, and you can see how much he cared.”
Leggero, another of the celebrities who helped the contestants win the jackpot, also revealed that Travis left her pleasantly surprised.
‘We love him. He was so cute and so prepared. “It really left me speechless because I didn’t have very high expectations… you could tell he took it very seriously and killed it,” Leggero also told the outlet.
