Tori Spelling has given her fans an inside look at the veneer procedure that boosted her confidence levels and made her “smile again.”
Spelling, 51, has been open with her fans about the procedure, revealing that she once had an amazing smile that diminished over the years after her teeth became less of a priority.
But now Spelling no longer hides her teeth thanks to her best friend, celebrity and beloved dentist Dr. Kevin Sands.
Both Spelling and Sands shared a video chronicling their makeover, from their consultation to the day they officially got their veneers placed.
“I’m getting a new smile from Dr. Sands. It’s so weird for me to say that. Kevin and I have been best friends since we were 15,” Tori, who got her veneers in May, explained during her appointment.

“You had the most beautiful teeth!” Dr. Sands insisted.
“Yes, I did,” she replied in a wistful tone.
Dr. Sands, who has worked with the likes of Kim Kardashian and Drake, explained what he planned to do that day: “Today we’re going to remove a thin layer of the top of your tooth.”
Tori candidly described how her teeth had “destroyed” her confidence levels over the years, despite them once being “her thing.”
“When I was younger, my smile was my thing,” Tori explained. “But then as I got older, I stopped paying attention to my teeth.”
“When I talk to people, I raise my hand and that has taken a lot of confidence out of me,” she added. “I’m really excited because Kevin is going to give me a whole new smile.”
Tori first received a set of temporary veneers.
In the two weeks since having the temporary shields placed, Tori has noticed an increase in her self-esteem.
“My confidence has increased overall, even in these last two weeks, even with my baby teeth. It’s like I’m smiling again and I feel so much better, so I can’t wait to get my new teeth,” she explained.
Tori got her veneers just days before her 51st birthday on May 16.

Last month, she spoke out about her decision to get veneers after years of feeling self-conscious about her “disgusting” teeth.

As a birthday present to herself, she decided to give her smile a makeover with the help of Sands, who appeared as that week’s guest.
“I always say I’m afraid of the dentist. I let my teeth shit out,” the Beverly Hills, 90210 star told listeners, before asking Sands, “So how were my teeth?”
Without holding back, Sands said Tori’s old teeth were “disgusting, to say the least.”
The duo inspected a photo of Tori’s smile.
Tori got her veneers done a few days before her 51st birthday on May 16th.
“When I was younger, my smile was my thing,” Tori explained. “But then, as I got older, I didn’t pay attention to my teeth anymore.”
The video captured Spelling’s procedure.
Tori, pictured in 1992, recalled the incredible smile she had during her days on 90210.
She continued: “They were chipped and discoloured. They didn’t look like the Tori I knew.”
Tori agreed with Sands’s stark statement. “Yeah, I couldn’t smile anymore. I didn’t smile,” she said. “I didn’t have cavities until I was 40. It was all downhill from there.”
After years of hiding her smile, Tori contacted Sands and they decided veneers were the way to go.
“I wanted you to look like the old days, the sexy little Tori I know,” Sands said, before explaining the procedure.
“We reshaped every single one of Tory’s teeth. We took these special custom molds and from those, we handcrafted each individual tooth and rebuilt her smile as if it were 20 years ago,” he said.
“You have a full smile now. They’re white, beautiful, sexy. Look at you. You look 10 years younger.”
Tori is absolutely delighted with the result. “I’ve never been happier. I smile now. I’m a completely new person. People underestimate the smile,” she raved.
