Taylor Swift has unwittingly found herself dragged into Blake Lively’s It Ends With Us drama, with vicious trolls claiming the actress is using the singer to “gain clout.”
Online trolls have pointed out that Taylor is one of Lively’s closest friends and have unfairly lumped her into the same group as some of the Gossip Girl star’s behavior.
Lively is currently in an alleged feud with her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni and has also been criticized online for some press interviews she has done, including an “awkward” 2016 interview that made the journalist “want to quit” her job.
“I find it hilarious that Blake Lively is a mean girl and everyone is shocked. She’s Taylor Swift’s best friend…” wrote one on X.
Another troll commented: “It makes perfect sense that Blake Lively is BFFs with Taylor Swift. I see Blake taking some advice from Taylor and using her ‘untouchable’ fame and influence to try and turn people against someone they see as competition. It’s a shame the public can now see through them.”

Someone else on X claimed they were both “incredibly boring, mediocre white women who get way too much praise for doing the bare minimum.”
Swift has previously been accused of using shady tactics on the music charts to “sabotage” some of her musical rivals.
While promoting It Ends With Us, Lively, 36, couldn’t help but gush about her BFF Swift.
While playing “Unpopular Opinion” on the BBC Radio 1 breakfast show, she fiercely defended Swift’s Eras Tour setlist, which consists of more than 40 songs and lasts three and a half hours.
After a person called in to share their controversial opinion that the pop star should not perform Love Story anymore, the mother of four responded with a sarcastic comment.
“Oh, that’s harsh,” Lively said. “Do you hate happiness, joy, or just your ears? You don’t like your ears?”
The caller responded, “I think it’s a really good song, but I think another song from Fearless should shine on stage.”
“I think he’s there because he’s well-known, but I think someone less known should have their moment,” the woman explained to Ryan Reynolds’ wife.
Lively responded that she “honestly” wished “the concert lasted 47 hours so all the songs could be played at all times.”
Online trolls have flooded social media with malicious tweets about Lively and Swift.
The show’s host, Greg James, 38, then asked: “So, should every song be played from start to finish?”
“Yes,” Lively insisted.
Throughout her career, Swift has written more than 67 songs alone and 274 in total.
Since 2006, the 14-time Grammy winner has released 11 original studio albums, 4 re-recorded albums, 5 EPs and 4 live albums.
He is currently on his sixth concert tour, the highest-grossing music tour of all time.
Lively most recently attended the Eras Tour in Madrid in May, alongside her husband and older children, James, eight, Inez, seven, and Betty, four.
Lively and Baldoni (pictured) avoided each other at the film’s New York premiere, and several reports have emerged painting both stars in a negative light.
A year earlier, he took James and Inez to another Eras Tour show in May 2023.
Last month, Swift revealed that she is godmother to Lively and Reynolds’ children.
Swift, 34, Lively and Reynolds have been close friends for years.
The Bad Blood hitmaker has even used her daughters’ names in her songs.
Her song, Betty, from the 2020 album Folklore names James, Inez, and Betty.
And her 2017 album Reputation features James’ vocals on the song Gorgeous.
It Ends With Us has become one of the most talked-about films of the year, for all the wrong reasons.
The romantic drama, based on Colleen Hoover’s novel of the same name, follows Lily Bloom (played by Lively) as she becomes embroiled in an abusive relationship with Ryle Kincaid (Baldoni).
The film has already grossed $93 million at the box office, but has been plagued by rumors of tensions on the set, a feud between Lively and Baldoni and a frosty press tour.
Lively and Baldoni avoided each other at the film’s New York premiere, and several reports have emerged painting both stars in a negative light.
