The Sydney-based mum-of-two, 39, shared her top tips for creating the perfect family getaway based on her recent trip to the Gold Coast in May.

The media personality also highlighted the need to strike a balance between children’s enjoyment and parents’ relaxation.

“The success of a family vacation depends on a little quid pro quo,” he admitted.

“We all know that the scales tend to tip heavily in favor of those most likely to throw tantrums, but us moms and dads have to take advantage of the victories where we can.”

Last August, Sylvia revealed that despite her blossoming career, family is her number one priority.

The Today show star told The Daily Telegraph that she always makes time for her two young children.

“I don’t take for granted the fact that I manage to achieve a certain balance in that sense in my life,” the beauty said.

It is understood the journalists want a bigger house with space for their growing family.

The luxurious two-story residence within the cosmopolitan eastern suburbs cost the couple $2.7 million in 2016.

The couple married at Ooralba Estate in Kangaroo Valley on April 1, 2017.

In 2020, Sylvia and Peter, 42, welcomed their first child, Oscar.

Just eight months later, the TV presenter revealed she was pregnant with her second child, a son, Henry.
