“I’m about to get fired,” Simon said as he walked over and attempted to press the golden buzzer that belonged to Howie for the episode.
The crowd cheered as the group of hip hop and break dancers showed their unique style of dance to the world. The trio of four, all dressed in white, danced while hanging from a bar and holding and kicking themselves in the air. Howie ran onto the stage.
“Okay, I need to get this straight. Howie got here first, this is Howie’s Golden Buzzer,” said host Terry Crews, 55.
Then Simon ran on stage and Howie tried to block him.

“Simon wants to take the credit,” Terry said. “Howie, this is your Golden Buzzer.”
“This is mine,” Howie said as he watched Simon on stage congratulating the dancers.
Terry later played the replay which showed Simon and Howie hitting the golden buzzer at the same time. The replay showed that Howie actually hit the buzzer first.
“I feel like I’ve been abused,” Howie said.
“Look, I think when you watch the tape you’ll see that my finger got there just before Howie,” Simon said.
—Well, keep your fingers off my doorbell, Howie said.
Terry said that because of the Golden Buzzer, AirFootworks will go straight to the finals.
Legion, a dance group from Buenos Aires, Argentina, performed with their boots on fire to open the second live quarterfinal match.
Sofia Vergara, 52, had given them the Golden Buzzer earlier in the season, sending them straight to the live show. They danced and played drums while their boots were engulfed in flames and, later, their hats, too.
“Sofia, your Golden Buzzer winner, looked spectacular!” Terry said.
Simon was not impressed.
“It wasn’t as good as I thought it would be,” Simon said. “I don’t know what it was. I just wanted more.”
