Scarlett Johansson has been seen for the first time in her new film Jurassic World.

The veteran Hollywood actress was hiding in the tall grass while wearing her hair in a high ponytail and looked surprised.

The mermaid wore earth-toned makeup and had eight piercings in her ears. She also wore a plaid shirt and carried a brown bag slung over her shoulder.

Joining her was her co-star Jonathan Bailey.

“A new era has dawned,” read the Instagram caption as fans went wild over her first look.

The movie also has a title: Jurassic World: Rebirth. The action-packed film is set to be released on July 2, 2025.

The seventh Jurassic film is directed by Gareth Edwards and written by David Koepp.

While promoting her new film Fly Me To the Moon, Johansson confirmed her participation in ComicBook.com.

“I’m a huge Jurassic Park fan. It’s one of the first movies I remember seeing in the theater. I remember it very clearly,” she said of the original 1993 film.

“It was like my life changed. It was mind-blowing. I can’t tell you how excited I am,” Johansson recalled.

The project brings back original Jurassic Park screenwriter David Koepp, who adapted Michael Crichton’s 1990 novel of the same name.

“The script is incredible. David Koepp wrote it. He came back after about 30 years to write the script. He’s very passionate, which is incredible.”

“I’m a huge fan of the franchise and a huge nerd. I can’t even pinch myself,” Johansson added.

She also admitted: “I’ve been trying to get into this franchise in any way possible for over 10 years.”
