Royal expert claims Prince Harry’s future with the royal family looks bleak after stepping down

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are unlikely to attend the annual Remembrance Day service at London’s Cenotaph in the coming years, despite Harry’s notable military background. Since stepping down as working royals in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have experienced a significant change in their roles, including a loss of official privileges.

Royal expert Lee Cohen suggested that Harry’s decision to give up his honorary military titles and the right to wear uniform will likely exclude him from this prestigious ceremony in the future. Although it is “conceivable that he could still appear, but out of uniform,” Cohen added that the Royal Family would probably avoid including him in such central events.

“It is really unlikely that Harry will be able to participate in these central events with the Royal Family in the future,” Cohen explained in GB News. Reflecting on Harry’s decision to step away from his royal duties, Cohen commented: “It’s a shame for him. Although he created his own path here, he resigned in 2020. He gave up his honorary military titles and the right to wear a uniform.”

As a veteran and former army captain who served in Afghanistan, Harry’s absence from the Remembrance Day service symbolizes a further distancing from the royal traditions he once closely followed.
