The photographer in charge of taking the last portraits of Princess Elisabeth of Belgium has been presented as a fellow student.
As the 22-year-old joined the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) in Cambridge, Massachusetts, last week, the royal household shared a selection of glowing images of the royals at their new all-American college.
It has now been revealed that the man behind the camera is not a high-society photographer, but Max Bueno from Connecticut, a scholarship student who studies at the same school as Elisabeth and is also a professional photographer, according to the HKS website.
The student highlighted his skills behind the camera, capturing the heir to the Belgian throne outside the building of his school, where he is studying a master’s degree in public policy.
According HLN NewsElisabeth, who previously studied at Oxford University, is adjusting to her new American school because, perhaps not surprisingly, “a lot of people want to be her friend.”
Princess Elisabeth of Belgium had her university photos taken by her fellow student and professional photographer, Max Bueno.
In the images, Elisabeth dressed appropriately and sported a pair of £210 Crest high-waisted wide-leg jeans from classic American brand Tommy Hilfiger with a brown tank top.
Photographer and student Max has an impressive track record, having been commissioned as a Naval Intelligence Officer at the US Naval Academy and graduating with a BA in Quantitative Economics.
After his time at Harvard, Max hopes to pursue a career in the military and improve U.S. intelligence-sharing capabilities.
After the Belgian royal family shared the images of Max, Elisabeth received an outpouring of support from observers, with many praising her for being “normal.”
Viewers tried to “imagine” what it would be like to befriend her, only to discover she’s a princess, while others joked that it looked like something out of a “movie.”
Social media users also praised the princess for opting for a “normal” lifestyle despite coming from such a prominent family. “Imagine becoming friends with her and then finding out she’s the Crown Princess of Belgium,” one person wrote.
“I can’t imagine how it feels to be her friend,” another person replied. “When they joke around they’re like, ‘Okay, queen,'” the user added with humor.
“When is the movie coming out?” asked another person. “The new Legally Blonde,” read a fourth comment, referring to the hit 2001 film starring Reese Witherspoon.

Max Bueno (pictured), who also studies at Harvard’s Kennedy School, was the man behind the camera.
After Elisabeth finished her studies in England, she took part in several engagements during the summer with her parents, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde, around Belgium, including celebrating the National Day.
In July, Princess Elisabeth of Belgium thanked Oxford University for three “wonderful” years as she prepares to move to Cambridge to pursue her master’s degree at Harvard.
The royal, 22, moved to the UK in the autumn of 2021 to begin her undergraduate course in History and Politics at Lincoln College.
The future European queen enrolled at the institution under the name “Elisabeth of Saxe-Coburg” and was a member of Lincoln College.

In addition to being an active member of her university’s sailing club, Elisabeth reportedly completed around six written papers and a thesis in History or Politics in her senior year to complete her degree.
Now, Princess Elizabeth has joined the renowned Harvard University in Cambridge, where the Princess passed the entrance exams.

She took time off from her studies to carry out the rare royal engagement in her native country.
Elisabeth is next in line to the Belgian throne, as she is the eldest daughter of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde.
Max has an impressive academic record and hopes to pursue a career in the military after his studies.
The heir to the Belgian throne was praised by viewers for looking “normal” in her new portraits.
According to the Belgian newspaper The eveningThe princess completed a written entrance exam to Oxford in history “anonymously” so that her royal status would not affect her chances of being offered a place.
Elizabeth is believed to have chosen the path herself, in agreement with her parents, and supposedly consulted with graduates from various universities and made her decision based on what would be most useful to her in her role as Queen later in life.
During her time at Oxford there was speculation about her love life amid reports that she was dating a “normal” young man.
Belgian media reported that the 20-year-old had found love with fellow student Nicholas Dodd, 20, from Rochdale.
Mr. Dodd studied History at the same university according to The latest newsa Dutch-language newspaper based in Antwerp, Belgium.
However, the rumours were debunked when Dodd’s family said the reports were “false”.
“They just go to the same university and study together. Like all their other friends, I can’t comment further,” said an anonymous relative. Manchester Evening News.
Asked about the rumours, the Royal Palace declined to comment, according to Belgium’s French-language television station. Right-right.

Elisabeth, who speaks Dutch, French, German, English and has also taken Mandarin Chinese classes, began attending royal engagements at a very early age and was just nine years old when she gave a speech at the opening of the Princess Elizabeth Children’s Hospital.
