Reddit users reported the site was down around 2 p.m. EST on Thursday, and more than 20,000 people reported they couldn’t access the app.

In a post on X, Reddit said it is investigating the issue that is causing “intermittent issues and slow loading for users.”

Although the outage is affecting countries around the world, including Germany, the United Kingdom and Canada, the majority of issues have been reported in the US.

This is the second issue Reddit is investigating on the same day, with users reporting the app loading slowly and saying they were experiencing “intermittent crashes” at 11 a.m. EST.

Reddit said on X that it had supposedly fixed the issue less than an hour later.

Reddit has reported experiencing a high number of errors on its site since February 22, and at least three issues have occurred since then.

The outage comes just two days after Facebook crashed and less than 24 hours after LinkedIn crashed.

AT&T also experienced an outage of approximately six hours on February 22, when Americans questioned the reliability of American servers.
