During celebrations at The Starchild Rooftop, the former X Factor judge posed in spectacular fashion with director Jamie Lloyd and her co-stars.

Nicole originally played the role of Norma when it opened in London last year, with West End legend Rachel Tucker understudying her.

She and co-star Tom Francis both won an Olivier for their efforts, and Tom will join the Don’t Cha singer once again when the show opens on Broadway in October.

Joined by fellow London cast members Grace Hodgett-Young and David Thaxton, the four appeared in high spirits as they prepared for their Broadway debut.

Nicole recently admitted that despite her success in theatre, she initially felt “discarded” by the industry following her pop career.

She said People:”'”I am (46) years old. I have never been stronger, physically, mentally and emotionally. I am in my prime. There is no better time to create meaningful work in this world.

‘That’s the tragedy: you’re in the prime of your life. You’re so full, you have so much to give, and people have written you off, dismissed you, and said, “Your time is up…”‘

Nicole then insisted that it has been a “lifelong dream” to make it to The Great White Way, which comes after appearances in shows such as Cats and Rent since her pop heyday.

Nicole’s success at the London edition of Sunset Boulevard was not without its setbacks, as she stumbled while walking on stage during the awards ceremony.

After kissing her fiancé Thom Evans, Nicole carefully made her way onto the stage of the Royal Albert Hall in her daring dress.

Presenter Hannah Waddingham helped her up the steps, but when she reached the top, the actress tripped and actor David Oyelowo tried to help her.

In her acceptance speech, she said: “First of all, I would like to thank God for saving me from that trip. But seriously, without him I am nothing.”
