A restaurant owner has come under fire after describing Jews as a “death cult” and sharing a photo of an Israeli soldier depicted as a blood-soaked pig on social media.
Nick Stone, who runs the luxury restaurant Bistro St Jacques in Redfern, in Sydney’s inner west, sparked outrage after posting the images on his Instagram page on October 7, the anniversary of the Hamas massacre in Israel.
Stone posted a photo of a pig, dripping blood, dressed in an Israel Defense Forces uniform next to a Star of David. The Australian reported.

Another post, addressed to the Australian Jewish Association and showing a distraught child in Gaza, reads: ‘Here’s to your October 7th… May your children endure the same hardships.’
Daily Mail Australia contacted Stone for comment and asked if he regretted his posts and if he would now apologize to the Jewish community.
According to his company website, he runs a “neighborhood French bistro” with “warm hospitality” that “brings our locals back again and again” and currently has a 4.4-star rating on Google.

The head of the Australian Jewish Association, Robert Gregory, condemned Stone’s posts and said some of the images and words were “straight Nazi-style hate”.
