Nick Jonas has many reasons to stay in shape, but the main one is his type 1 diabetes.
The Waffle House singer, 31, reviewed his workout routine with Men’s healthadmitting that he hates cardio, so you won’t find him running on the treadmill.
‘(The glucose level) not only affects my basic health, but also my emotional state, mental state,’ he revealed.
As a touring musician and actor, staying in shape is essential to being able to run around the stage singing for three and a half hours.
But Nick, who has been in India for the past two weeks, has another, even more important reason for staying fit: his two-year-old daughter Malti Marie, who he shares with his wife Priyanka Chopra, 41.

The Waffle House singer, 31, reviewed his workout routine with Men’s Health and admitted he hates cardio, which is why you won’t find him running on the treadmill in the 2022 photo.
“My current fitness goal is to be able to lift my daughter with ease,” she said.
“As a mom, there are a lot of hinges from the hips down and it can be a little strenuous on your forearms as you grow and grow.”
And his current workout routine was helped by his time on the Audience Network show Kingdom from 2014 to 2017, where he played an MMA fighter.
He called his workout routine at the time “really intense,” with weight training in the morning, followed by cardio and a four-hour MMA training session.
“It was a lot of fun to test myself,” he said. ‘But I’m glad I don’t have to train harder.”
While on tour, Nick treats the concert as a workout and supplements it with a dumbbell workout at the hotel gym by celebrity trainer Matt Blank, called the MH Training Program, 6-Pack Fast Track.
He also explained that he likes to gamify his training to make it more interesting.
And sometimes he works out with his brothers, but they all have different styles when it comes to going to the gym.

“Joe likes to have headphones on, sweat a lot, and Kevin likes mobility more,” he said.
Nick has been in India for the past two weeks with his wife and daughter celebrating the Hindu holiday Holi with family and friends.
The two-day festival celebrates spring, color and love, marking the end of winter and the arrival of spring.
The family also visited a temple with Priyanka’s mother.
