Nick Jonas was spotted on the set of the upcoming musical comedy, Power Ballad, for the first time this week.
The singer, 31, who plays a rock star in the film, was mobbed by fans as he walked down the street during the scene.
Filming began in County Dublin on Monday, with Nick wearing a cream Aran knit jumper and a waxed Barbour jacket.
Nick, who recently ditched all his curly hair for the role, completed his look with a green tracksuit, white trainers and a tweed flat cap.
The movie, which also stars Paul Rudd, is described as a musical comedy from writer-director John Carney (Once, Sing Street) about a wedding singer, a rock star, and the song that separates them.

The project will be sold at the Cannes Film Market later this month.
Peter McDonald (The Bachelor Weekend) wrote the script with Anthony Bregman and Peter Cron producing through Likely Story.
They will produce with Robert Walpole and Rebecca O’Flanagan for Treasure Entertainment.
Last month, Nick shared an update on Instagram with some changes in his life, including removing all of his curly hair.
The pop star uploaded six new snaps, all captioned “Lately,” the first of which showed a selfie when she had her longer curly hair.
The second showed a hand holding a clipper above his head, while the next showed him holding his daughter Malti with the new shaved look.
He also shared a short video of him playing on a windy golf course, with the last slide showing him enjoying a pint of Guinness.
It seems the new shaved head look was for a movie role, as his wife Priyanka Chopra revealed in her own Instagram post.
