Irritated country music star Morgan Wallen threw a chair at police from a rooftop bar after his ex-fiancée secretly eloped with their young son, DailyMail.com can reveal.
Wallen, 30, was released on bail from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department after throwing the chair from Chiefs Bar shortly after 10:45 p.m. Sunday.
He was charged with three counts of felony reckless endangerment and one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct, and officers alleged the chair landed three feet away from them.
Wallen was upset because his ex-girlfriend Katie ‘KT’ Smith eloped with Luke Scornavacco on April 3, just five days after they got engaged.
The couple announced the news on their social media with Smith, 29, holding up a marriage certificate from the Wilson County Clerk’s Office in Tennessee as the two smiled at the camera.

Wallen’s son Indigo was there to witness his mother’s engagement after Scornavacco, 22, took a knee on March 29 at Magnolia Farm in Eagleville, Tennessee.
The source added: “Of course he knew they were engaged and would eventually get married, but he eloped just days after getting engaged?
‘Morgan has never gotten over her even though he couldn’t remain faithful to her. And now another man is going to raise his child.
“What happened in that bar had to be the reality that hit him in the face for losing the love of his life.”
Wallen, 30, was arrested Sunday after throwing a chair from the sixth floor of a rooftop bar in Nashville.
Wallen also proposed to Smith, and the couple dated on and off from December 2016 to November 2019. They welcomed a son, Indigo, in 2020.
The boy was there to witness his mother’s engagement after Scornavacco, 22, took a knee on March 29 at Magnolia Farm in Eagleville, Tennessee.
Her ex-lover shared a series of love-struck photos of her new lover and defended herself against those online who questioned the speed of their relationship.
She denied that the wedding was a shotgun wedding, but joked that ‘now that we’re married we can try anything we want,’ on her Instagram Story.
Wallen is accused of throwing a chair from the sixth floor of Eric Church’s new honky-tonk on Broadway.
Bystanders claimed the singer laughed after throwing the chair from the top of the roof and was booked shortly after 12:30 a.m.
Wallen’s bond was set at $15,250 and he was seen protected by an umbrella when he was released from the Davidson County Jail around 3:30 a.m.
MNPD released Wallen’s mugshot Monday morning, which shows the country music star with a smile on his face after the alleged drunken escapade.
Smith began dating Wallen in 2017 and quickly became engaged. They are photographed with her three-year-old son Indigo.
Chiefs Bar is owned by country artist Eric Church and celebrated its grand opening over the weekend.
In a statement, his attorney Worrick Robinson said: ‘At 10:53 pm on Sunday night, Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is cooperating fully with the authorities.”
The hitmaker will appear in court on May 3, between two performances scheduled at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium on May 2-4 as part of his ‘One Night at a Time’ tour.
Wallen could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted of felonies, and no less than one year.
It’s not his first run-in with the law, as Wallen was arrested in May 2020 for disorderly conduct at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk bar in downtown Nashville.
The country music star was also arrested at the Broadway bar for public intoxication.
He was taken into custody outside Kid Rock’s Big Honky Tonk and Steakhouse after allegedly kicking several glass objects, according to an affidavit from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.
An officer observed that security guards kicked Wallen out of the bar because there was disorder inside.

According to the affidavit, police gave Wallen several opportunities to leave with his friends, but he refused. He was also charged with DUI in 2016, but the case was dismissed.

Footage shows Wallen being arrested by MNPD and appeared to be yelling at a police officer.
Wallen was set to open his own bar in 2024 called ‘This Bar’ in Nashville to pay homage to his Tennessee roots.
The six-story bar will be located at 107 4th Avenue North on Lower Broadway and will be a live music venue and restaurant.
