Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s ongoing troubles have come to light as they continue to struggle with their strained relationship with the royal family. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently facing difficulties in hiring a CEO for Meghan’s lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, after a former employee described them as “condescending.” Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have landed themselves in further trouble following these claims from their former assistant.
According NewsNationA former Archewell staffer has revealed that Meghan can be “insufferable” and often “talks down to people.” This revelation comes shortly after Prince Harry lost his chief of staff, Josh Kettler, after just three months in the role, making him the 18th member of staff to leave the Sussex camp.
Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield shared her views on the situation, saying: “I think they will continue to struggle to find people who want to work for them. It’s daunting just thinking about it.” GB NewsSchofield noted that a source also mentioned in Intimately magazine that it is “quite difficult” to work for Harry and Meghan.
Schofield continued: “It takes someone who is really strong. It takes someone who realises there is a rainbow at the end of the tunnel and you just have to persevere. I don’t think I could do it.”
The Sussexes’ business relationship with Netflix also came under scrutiny. Schofield explained: “There are rumours that Netflix has said, ‘Let us run the retail strategy’ if it can’t find a chief executive or someone willing to work with it. Netflix sees an opportunity there.” He suggested Meghan could potentially regain her status as an influencer, a role she had before meeting Harry.
Presenter Eamonn Holmes added: “To be an influencer, people have to want to be like you and, in fact, they have to like her. Most people have to be liked or admired – she will struggle on both counts.”
Schofield stressed that the Sussexes’ falling popularity has been a major issue in recent years. “Harry and Meghan believed their own propaganda when they said in that Netflix series that the reason they were ostracised was because they were so much more popular than the British royals.
“They were more popular than Prince William, more popular than Princess Kate, and their popularity has dropped massively. Now they are desperate to win back the support of the people,” he concluded, noting that many monarchists have stopped supporting Harry and Meghan, feeling that the couple have been “cruel and toxic” towards the royal family in recent years.
