Several Manchester United stars made last-minute trips to Monaco for the Formula One Grand Prix after celebrating their FA Cup title win over Man City into the early hours of Sunday morning.
Mason Mount was among those arriving at the Monte Carlo circuit on Sunday and was dressed in a virtually all-white ensemble as he was invited to the most glamorous race of the year as a guest of Red Bull.
But it was not one of his Man United colleagues that Mount joined up with in the paddock, instead he attended the event with his former Chelsea colleague Ben Chilwell.
The pair have remained close friends since Mount departed Stamford Bridge in a £60million move to Old Trafford last summer and appeared to be enjoying themselves in the hot Monaco sun.
Both Mount and Chilwell are now at the start of their post-season break and neither have been selected as part of Gareth Southgate’s 33-man provisional squad ahead of the upcoming European Championship.

Mount made the trip to Monaco less than 24 hours after Man United’s FA Cup title win.
Mount’s post-season break is already underway after he failed to be included in Gareth Southgate’s England squad.
Mount has endured a difficult first season at United, where he was awarded the club’s legendary number 7 shirt upon joining, battling numerous injuries and making just 20 appearances in all competitions, scoring just one goal in the process.
However, he was fit to take part in Saturday’s Wembley match and came off the bench in the third minute of stoppage time as manager Erik ten Hag attempted to run out the clock.
Meanwhile, many Mount United colleagues were also present as Diogo Dalot accompanied Brazilian winger Antony on the grid.
Dalot has been one of the club’s best players this season and was recently crowned United’s player of the season.
He also played an integral role in the weekend’s FA Cup triumph and was in high spirits as he walked among the various Formula One cars, taking a moment to speak to Sky Sports presenter Martin Brundle.
United’s Diogo Dalot was also present when he attended a Formula One race for the first time.
It was the first time Dalot had the chance to properly share his feelings after his interview at Wembley was cut short prematurely by United captain Bruno Fernandes.
Dalot gave his verdict on his team’s FA Cup triumph: “It was very good. The best way to end the season and now it feels good to come here as winner of the FA Cup.
He went on to explain how Monaco was his first experience in F1, adding: “It’s my first time. I couldn’t choose a better place to come and it’s an incredible experience. I hope to enjoy the race.”
Other football superstars were also present on race day, with Liverpool duo Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold in attendance, and Kylian Mbappé was also able to take in the super-rich surroundings.
