Married At First Sight UK has been thrown into chaos after a contestant was accused of abuse.
The popular series returns to E4 with a new cast of boyfriends and girlfriends and announced its line-up earlier this week.
But after sharing images on their Instagram, bosses have come under fire for allegedly allowing a “domestic abuser to join the show”.
A boyfriend, Alex Henry, has been inundated with accusations from social media users after his video was shared online.
One person commented: ‘@alexander.henry_ should never have been allowed to participate in this program.

The popular series returns to E4 with a new cast of boyfriends and girlfriends and announced its line-up earlier this week.
She added: ‘In situations where people are getting married at first sight, allowing a domestic abuser to join the programme is not acceptable at all.
“I have seen first hand the damage this man has caused. Something needs to be done about this. @e4mafsuk @e4grams Domestic abusers should not be given a platform.”
Another wrote: ‘This is why background checks should ALWAYS be done and previous partners etc contacted as the trauma you caused to other women could be passed on to someone you have consented to be on your show. Do better next time.’
MailOnline has contacted Alex Henry and Channel 4 for comment.
A MAFS UK spokesperson said: ‘MAFS UK contributors are subject to rigorous background checks, including multiple independent psychological assessments and a criminal record check before being allowed to participate.
“We select employees based on the information we can legally access and we continue to review this process to ensure that the checks are as comprehensive as legally possible.”
The show, which will return to our screens very soon, will air for nine weeks for fans to enjoy and will feature Paul C. Brunson, Mel Schilling and Charlene Douglas once again as experts.

Described as “a daddy’s girl who will stop at nothing to impress her dad”, Sacha, 29, from Birmingham, has been competing in beauty pageants since she was six and was even crowned Miss Birmingham in 2018.
The hopeful bride has only had one long-term relationship, which lasted three years.
Single for nine months, she made the decision to become celibate until the right man comes along.
Sacha is also a dedicated kickboxer and, coming from a competitive family, being an entrepreneur “runs in her blood and drives her to be as ambitious as possible.”
Meanwhile, Ross, 32, from Manchester, is the first deaf contestant to appear on the E4 show.
Ross was born deaf and uses two hearing aids, but he has never let this define who he is or what he wants to do in life.
He played for Everton Deaf football club and was selected for Team GB trials at the age of 17, before being confirmed for the Deaf England first team.
He played all over the world until two years ago, when he left to be close to home for his daughter, whom he considers the center of his universe.
