Married At First Sight star Collins Christian suffered humiliation on live radio on Thursday morning when he was tricked into auditioning for a constipation tablets advert.
The reality TV star, 28, was contacted by The Kyle and Jackie Show, who pranked Collins to stand as an ambassador for the fake ‘Flushed Out’ brand.
NRL star turned radio talent Cooper Johns posed as ‘Hudson from an influential agency’ and convinced Collins to say a hilarious ‘catchphrase’ for the made-up laxative.
Cooper, 24, and Collins began haggling over ‘ambassador’ pay, with the MAFS contestant asking for a whopping $20,000 to perform ‘Flushed Out’.
The former football player then convinced Collins to say the product’s tagline, which mocked the backlash he received for his “terrible performance” on MAFS.
Married At First Sight star Collins Christian suffered humiliation on live radio on Thursday morning when he was tricked into auditioning for an advert for a constipation tablet.
“Hi, I’m Collins from Married At First Sight, and you may think I’m full of shit, but thanks to Flushed Out that’s simply not true,” the executive assistant said.
Collins didn’t hesitate to say the embarrassing phrase with enthusiasm before starting to ask Cooper for more details about the brand deal.
Cooper said there was an “ethics clause,” informing Collins that the pills were actually “rebranded and colored zinc tablets” that did not contain laxatives.
The reality TV star was ‘pranked’ into saying a fake brand slogan ‘Flushed Out’, during which he was asked to say he was ‘full of s**t’.
‘We just wanted you to be aware in case it comes out because it’s not actually a constipation pill… You may have to lie and say [they work]”Cooper said.
In a shocking move, Collins said he was willing to lie about the product’s effectiveness if he got the job.
It was at this point that Cooper revealed that there was no ambassador role, adding that he actually worked for The Kyle and Jackie O Show and that the job offer was a joke.
It’s not the only ad Collins has appeared in, as Daily Mail Australia revealed in February that she once appeared in an ad about Ashley and Martin’s hair loss in 2022.
Collins seemed to take it all in good humor and laughed when he said, “You sew… is that a shit take?” Fuck. Oh my god… I hate you.’
It’s not the only advert Collins has appeared in, as Daily Mail Australia revealed in February that he was one of several MAFS cast members revealed to be “actors”.
The MAFS fan-turned-contestant, who had been trying to get cast on the show for several years, appeared in an Ashley and Martin hair loss advert in 2022.
Sharing a clip of the announcement on his Instagram at the time, Collins revealed that he was cast as ‘Raja’ for a short stint.
