Married At First Sight star Tristan Black has asked his fans for help in starting a career in radio.
The reality star, who failed to find love with Cassandra Allen on the Channel Nine dating show, took to social media on Wednesday to promote his CV while asking his followers for help in landing his dream job on the airwaves.
“Hi everyone, this is Tristan. I’m writing to you because I need your help,” the clip begins.
“Over the last two or three months I’ve been trying to take a step forward in my career, which is to get into radio. As well as having the face for it, I think I’m very funny… which I think is another funny joke.”
Tristan, who currently works as an events manager for a hotel on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, added that while he was keen to try his hand at the microphone, he was unsure where to begin his career move.
“It’s been a little bit tricky because I don’t know who to talk to or what to do. I’ve been looking on Google and Seek and all that kind of stuff.”
Tristan then urged his followers to reach out to any potential radio personality on their networks and talk about their positive points.
“But if anyone knows someone who can point me in the right direction, please let me know.
Married At First Sight star Tristan Black has revealed he is keen to launch a career in radio.
“Let’s just say I’m fun, a team player, loyal, resourceful, and a great gamer. If anyone knows someone who can give me some advice or point me in the right direction, that would be great. Hope everyone is having a great day, love.”
Tristan, who appeared on the 2024 version of Married at First Sight, felt rejected after he and his girlfriend Cassandra decided to split up during a commitment ceremony.
“I told someone I was falling in love with him and then I guess he rejected me and then, you know, I just kind of backed off,” she confessed.

The admission came after a week of reflection, which led them to the painful realization that their relationship could not progress beyond friendship.
In a bittersweet farewell, Cass offered Tristan words of encouragement, suggesting that his future partner would be incredibly lucky.
Tristan responded with a heartfelt acknowledgement of Cass’s impact on his life, expressing gratitude despite the heartbreak.
Cass, you broke my heart, but I’m glad it was you who broke it. You know, you’re the first person I’ve ever told that I’ve fallen in love with. And either way, it didn’t work out, you’re stuck in my life forever.
“And maybe a little bit more time I can work on myself, and maybe we can reconnect in the future,” he shared.
Tristan added: “I’m fun, a team player, loyal, witty and a very skilled player. If anyone knows someone who can give me some advice or point me in the right direction, that would be absolutely fantastic.”
