However, Vicky and her fiancé Ercan were sent home after easyJet staff told the reality star that her passport breached company policy.
She told how she had spent the day at the passport office to apply for a new document so she wouldn’t miss her bachelorette party later that month.
During the show, Vicky told listeners: “I’m sure everyone knows this already. I tried to go to Italy at the weekend to see my wedding venue and try the menu.” We were very excited, we arrived at the airport very early on Sunday morning and were turned away.
‘The airline, who will remain anonymous because I think I have caused enough pain, said (my passport) was too damaged for their company policy. I’ve been traveling with him all year but company policy is company policy.
‘I took it seriously and walked away, and did a couple of stories saying I was really disappointed. I had wasted money on the flight and my wedding planner and florist were already there, I was feeling disappointed and tired.
“So I got on with my life and went home with my dogs, tried to look on the bright side. And then the press went crazy, like no one had ever been turned away from a flight because of a torn passport before. It was reported that I’m banned from easyJet, they made it look like I was on some kind of list.

Vicky was turned away from her easyJet flight to Italy on Sunday after her dog bit and slightly damaged her passport.
Vicky revealed: “Yes, I went straight there, I’m going to Dubai and I have my hen this month, I’m not taking any chances.” I think this is the universe’s way of telling me to sort my passport. So I was proactive and did it. And the good news is that the new one will be here in a week.
Days later easyJet issued a statement about the incident.
A spokesperson told MailOnline: ‘We are sorry for Ms Pattison’s experience and the inconvenience caused. At easyJet, we work closely with authorities and comply with their guidelines to ensure the safety of all passengers and staff.
“Therefore, we cannot allow any passenger to travel on their scheduled flight with documentation damaged to such an extent that its authenticity is called into question.”
Vicky took to Instagram to rage at the airline after she was turned away from a flight on Sunday.
They added: ‘It is the passenger’s responsibility to have the appropriate documentation to travel.’
Vicky had taken to social media earlier in the day to say she was on her way home to “cry” after the ordeal.
Enraged, she wrote: “I thought we were going to see our wedding venue today, we were so excited…
‘I ran back from Newcastle, packed up at midnight last night, got into bed and slept for 3 hours… But I didn’t care because we were going to try our @ercan_ram menu.
