Kylie Minogue has revealed she is “riding the wave” after her smash hit Padam Padam, which earned the singer her first Grammy in almost two decades.
Following the release of the song last year, the iconic artist, 56, released number one album Tension, a string of follow-up songs and has now announced Tension II and a world tour.
Kylie spoke on Zoe Ball’s Radio 2 breakfast show to promote her new single Lights Camera Action which debuted on Friday, along with a sexy video.
She said: “This year has been absolutely crazy, I’m incredibly grateful and motivated and I don’t know, we’re all still working.”
“You work, you work, you work, and sometimes you kind of peak, and it’s been fun riding the wave.”

Host Zoe then told the singer that listeners were convinced she was currently making the best music of her career.
To which Kylie responded, “It feels good, I love music more, my appreciation and all the nuances and everything that goes into it, I just love it.” I love doing it, I love interpreting it and connecting with people is the best.”
Padam Padam received praise from music critics, with many praising its appeal and hook.
It won the inaugural award for Best Dance Pop Recording at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards in February.
Lights Camera Action is the lead single taken from their 17th album, a sequel to Tension, titled Tension II, which will be released on October 18.
The accompanying video shows Kylie looking sensational in a series of skimpy outfits as she plays characters in front of and behind the camera.
She unveiled her album news with a short photo montage on Instagram of herself in a flowing white dress on a beach with a funky beat in the background.
Kylie joked in the caption: ‘LOVERS…. TENSION II… The sequel with NINE new songs will be yours on October 18!

Aphrodite is a 2010 album by Kylie while she was releasing Light Years in 2000.
