Kim Kardashian appears to be embarking on a major renovation of the $60 million mansion she shared with Kanye West.
The 44-year-old reality TV star purchased the property in the Hidden Hills area of Calabasas with Kanye in 2014, the year they married in Florence.
They purchased the property for $20 million and Kanye later spearheaded a renovation that was rumored to have cost another $20 million.
After Kim filed for divorce in 2021, she managed to keep the house as she and Kanye reportedly agreed on a purchase price.
It now appears to be adding its own renovations, as last week saw a section of the building being rebuilt.

Kanye spent five years remodeling the property, enlisting the help of famed Belgian interior designer and antique dealer Axel Vervoordt.
The couple went viral when they showed off the strikingly minimalist, all-white rooms in a February 2020 post for Architectural compendium.
Kanye praised Axel, saying, “When I saw the kind of work he was doing, I thought, this guy could design Batman’s house.” I had to work with him.’
The rap icon continued, “It was a coup to get Axel to come to Calabasas to redo a McMansion, which is essentially what the house was.”
All interior walls were covered with off-white plaster, which together with the spartan decoration created an antiseptic look that was the subject of much mockery online.
“Kanye and Kim wanted something totally new,” Axel said while explaining the home’s unconventional design.
‘We are not talking about decoration but about a kind of philosophy about how we live now and how we will live in the future. We changed the house by purifying it and we continue to push to make it increasingly purer,’ he added.

When Kim and Kanye split, he moved to Wyoming while she stayed in the mansion with their four children North, 11, Saint, eight, Chicago, six, and Psalm, five.
In October 2021, it emerged that Kim had bought out Kanye after friendly negotiations and could keep the house, according to TMZ.
