Katherine gave birth to Violet when she was 25 years old and was just beginning her comedy career performing in smaller venues and arts centers.

When posing her solo, she explained that she had no choice but to take Violet on tour with her, however, Bobby is now available to stay home with the three children.

Revealing how she still struggles with “mom guilt”, Katherine confessed: “I’m doing this tour alone and Bobby has all the kids, but I really miss them.”

‘I think there is guilt for whatever type of working mother you decide to be. I’m not sure if the parents are equally to blame. I haven’t heard much about dad guilt, but maybe it exists.

“I think there’s a lot more trust in everyone’s role in a heteronormative relationship where the man works and the mother stays home.”

He added: “Especially when the children are young.” I feel like I should be the one there.”

Praising Bobby, she continued: ‘My husband is a great dad and he’s obviously a stay-at-home dad who does things brilliantly. But I get phone calls. Like, “where’s the cough medicine?”

“I say, well, ‘it’s in the cough medicine drawer where cough medicine goes.’
