Beyond The Sea is set in a retro-futuristic year of 1969 and follows two astronauts who can transfer their consciousness into artificial replicas of their bodies on Earth when they don’t need them on their ship.
Many critics considered Beyond The Sea to be the best episode of the sixth season.

Trap is scheduled to be released in the United States by Warner Bros. Pictures on August 9.

A seventh series of Black Mirror was announced last November and last month it was announced that one of its six episodes will be a sequel to the USS Callister episode that was released in December 2017 as part of the fourth series.

The British sci-fi anthology series created by Charlie Brooker launched its sixth season in June 2023 after a four-year hiatus.
Series creator Brooker co-wrote the USS Callister episode with William Bridges and director Toby Haynes was behind the camera.
The USS Callister provided audiences with a unique Black Mirror experience, showcasing some of the series’ unique special effects, performances, and comedic tone.
The episode earned four Primetime Emmy Awards out of a total of seven nominations at the 2018 ceremony, including Best Television Movie.
