Justin Bieber’s father is celebrating becoming a grandfather for the first time, following the arrival of his son with Hailey Bieber’s first child, a baby boy named Jack.
“Dad” was the comment Jeremy Bieber, 49, wrote on August 24, possibly referring to the name he wants his grandson to call him.
The Yummy singer, 30, announced he had become a father the day before writing: “WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER,” alongside a sweet photo of the baby’s foot in a soft blanket.
Justin’s wife Hailey, 27, re-shared the photo on her Instagram Stories.
The name follows the Bieber family tradition of naming children with the initials JB. Justin has a half-sister named Jazmyn, 14, and a half-brother named Jaxon, 16.

The little boy was also named after his grandfather. Jeremy’s middle name is Jack.
Justin’s mom, Pattie Mallette, 49, re-shared the sweet photo on her Instagram Stories, writing an enthusiastic caption, “OH MY HEART. WELCOME BABY JACK! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!”
‘THANK YOU LORD, WHAT A MIRACLE!’ he concluded.
Mallette continued to share her joy for X by writing: ‘CONGRATULATIONS @justinbieber and Hailey,’ tagging her daughter-in-law.

Hailey’s parents were also very happy. Her father, Stephen Baldwin, re-shared Mallette’s tweet and added: “Amen, congratulations and may God continue to bless our family.”
Hailey and Justin tied the knot in a New York City courthouse ceremony in September 2018. A year later, they walked down the aisle in a more formal ceremony for family and friends.
They announced they were expecting a baby in May.

“I literally cry about this all the time,” she told the outlet.
“I desperately want to have children, but I’m scared. I’ve had enough of people saying things about my husband or my friends. I can’t imagine having to deal with people saying things about a child.”
“We can only do the best we can to raise them,” she added, “as long as they feel loved and safe.”
