Ice Spice has confessed she was completely lost while attending one of the most watched sporting events in the world, alongside her friend and collaborator Taylor Swift.
While reflecting on watching the Kansas City Chiefs win Super Bowl LVIII earlier this year alongside friend and collaborator Taylor Swift, the rapper, 24, admitted she had “no idea” what was happening during the football game.
“I was incredibly confused. I’m still confused,” she said during her appearance on Friday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The artist, who gained popularity after going viral on TikTok in 2021, said all of her prior knowledge about football “just disappeared” when she entered Allegiant Stadium.

At the time, many social media users speculated that Ice Spice was confused based on her puzzled looks and bewildered expressions at various points during the game.
Following Swift’s lead was a natural choice, as the 34-year-old pop star has become quite football-savvy since she began dating Travis Kelce last year.
During her interview for Time’s 2023 Person of the Year, the 14-time Grammy winner credited her new relationship with introducing her to America’s favorite sport.
“Turns out football is great,” she enthused. “I’ve been missing it my whole life.”
Last season, he was something of a good luck charm for the team, as Kelce’s team won 10 of the 13 games he attended.
To get to Super Bowl LVIII, Swift flew 5,500 miles around the world from Tokyo, Japan.
During the game, she was joined by Ice Spice, Blake Lively and her longtime friend Ashley Avignone.

After releasing their collaboration on Karma, Spice and Swift became close after the rapper joined her on stage as a surprise guest for her Eras Tour concert in New Jersey.
Shortly after, Spice revealed that she and Swift “talk all the time.”
She also said she was honored that Swift told her she was a fan of her January 2023 EP Like…?.
“I was like, ‘Are you fucking up my project? Like what? She’s so sweet,'” she told The Guardian. “I was so obsessed with how humble she was and how willing she was to work. She gives me so much advice. We talk all the time and she’s so funny.”

Although Swift and Healy’s romance is over, Spice said she still listens to The 1975: “I’m a huge fan.”
Despite it all, their friendship remains strong and Spice said she had a great time with Swift, whom she called her “sister,” at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards last September.
She told Variety: “That’s my sister. We were talking about a lot of stuff. She’s very funny. We were having a drink. Just chatting, hanging out.”
