The Australian actor, 39, recently claimed that he no longer speaks to comedian Rebel, 44, and Ramona, 40, and that he was not invited to their Italian wedding, despite being the one who groomed the couple.
And Hugh was nowhere near the couple’s destination wedding in Sardinia over the weekend, as he posted a series of videos on Instagram from Sydney.
Just hours before the couple were said to be getting married, Hugh shared videos of himself on an evening boat trip around the Harbor Bridge and Opera House.
“It’s cheesy and cheesy, but trust me, I like the simple life,” she captioned the videos, referring to her song titled Give Me the Simple Life.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Hugh for comment. Representatives for Rebel declined to comment.

It was the perfect fairytale location for the couple to exchange vows, as they vacationed in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, just days after making their 2022 romance Instagram official.
The Pitch Perfect actress and her partner were reportedly supposed to tie the knot in a beach wedding in 2025, but Rebel decided to move up the date.
The couple first met in 2021 and announced their engagement in February 2023. They also share a daughter, Royce Lillian, who will turn two in November.
Hugh recently revealed that he was the one who introduced Rebel and Ramona, who he was friends with individually before realizing the two would be great for each other.
However, earlier this month, Hugh detailed his shock over his falling out with his former best friend Rebel and said he wasn’t invited or told about their wedding plans in Italy.
Speaking on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, host Kyle Sandilands asked Hugh if he would be traveling to Italy to attend Rebel and Ramona’s wedding.
‘No, they didn’t even tell me anything about that. In fact, I sent them a message (but I didn’t receive a response),’ the singer responded. “Look, I don’t even know them anymore.”
‘Did you do something wrong?’ Kyle asked in surprise before Hugh admitted that he “had no idea what had happened.”

‘I just hope everything goes well for Rebel. However, I do worry because I went to court for her here and we were very good friends.
I introduced him to Ramona and all that kind of stuff. I just want him to have good people around.
“And it worries me because I feel like in the past I was probably one of the only people who would be there for her and now with the silence and stuff, I just want to make sure she’s okay, but I’m sure.” She’s fine.’
Hugh also revealed how he introduced Rebel to his assistant and now “she doesn’t talk to me either.”
Hugh previously told how he ‘played Cupid’ for Rebel by setting her up with Ramona in 2021.
‘I’m a bit of a matchmaker in my spare time. I have a few marriages there,” Hugh said in a previous radio appearance on 2Day FM.
‘They were both really difficult to set up. Ramona is very smart and Rebel is very smart.
“I was in New York with my ex and I was feeling really sad, and Rebel said she can’t imagine how I feel because I’ve never been in love before!”
