Live food: Olga Moskalyova, 19, made a horrifying hour-long comment about her own death in three separate calls to her mother as she was mauled by wild animals in 2011.

Flesh ripped from the bone, low, menacing growls, and his daughter’s bloodcurdling screams for help.

These are the chilling sounds that made up a mother’s final phone call with her teenage daughter as she was eaten alive by a grizzly bear and her three cubs.

Olga Moskalyova, 19, had been on a summer walk with her stepfather near a river in eastern Siberia in August 2011, before the tragedy occurred.

But nothing could have prepared the couple for the horrors that would soon unfold.

As the teenager and her stepfather, Igor Tsyganenkov, walked along the water’s edge in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, a brown bear launched a terrifying attack on the helpless duo.

Olga managed to avoid the ferocious predator that dominated her stepfather: she broke his neck, cracked his skull and killed him as he writhed in agony in front of his defenseless daughter.

After watching the brutality unfold before her eyes, Olga ran about 200 feet away before the mother bear sank her teeth into her leg and dragged her to the ground.

While fighting the huge bear’s claws, the teenager managed to call her mother, Tatiana, several times.

In the first desperate phone call, he shouted: ‘Mom, the bear is eating me! Mom, it’s agony. ‘Mom, help!’

Her mother Tatiana said at the time that at first she thought her daughter was joking.

“But then I heard the real horror and pain in Olga’s voice, and the sounds of a bear growling and chewing,” Tatiana said.

“I could have died right then and there from shock.”

Tatiana tried to call her husband for help, tragically not knowing that the bear had already killed him.

The mother, sick with worry and confusion, alerted the police and her relatives. in the village of Termalniy while urgently trying to find help for his family.

He begged them to run to the river where the couple had gone to retrieve a fishing rod that Tsyganenkov had left behind.

On a second call, Olga, weak, gasped: ‘Mom, the bears are back. She came back and brought her three babies.

“They…are eating me.”

Mutilated: the bodies of the teenager and her stepfather were discovered

Mutilated: the bodies of the teenager and her stepfather were discovered “approximately half an hour after the brutal attacks.”

Finally, on her last call, almost an hour after the first, Olga felt like she was on the verge of death.

As the bears apparently left her to die, she said, “Mom, it doesn’t hurt anymore.” I don’t feel the pain.

‘Forgive me for everything, I love you very much.’

The call was cut off and that was the last time Tatiana heard her daughter’s voice.

Half an hour later, Igor’s brother Andrei arrived with the police and found the mother bear still devouring his body. Olga, severely mutilated, was also dead.

Emergency services sent six hunters to kill the mother bear and her three cubs after the devastating double massacre.

Tatiana, crying, said that Olga had everything to hope for and that she was happy with her life and with her boyfriend Stepan.

‘My daughter was very funny. She was very happy, friendly and warm,” Tatiana said.

“He had graduated from music school and a few days before the bear attack he got his driver’s license.”

Her husband and daughter were buried on the same day in 2011.

After the decade-old story recently resurfaced on social media, one person said: “I’m so sorry your mother went through the horror of the last few minutes of her daughter being eaten alive by the bear.”

“This reaffirmed my decision to never go camping in the wilderness or venture into the wilderness.”

Another wrote: ‘The story made me feel really bad but I have to agree that these people should never have been in unprotected bear country.

‘My heart goes out to the victims’ family, but you can’t blame a hungry mother with three babies to feed for doing what comes naturally to her. Lessons need to be learned.”

A third added: “How cruel is that… to hear someone you love die horribly and not be able to do anything about it.”

“Still, there is some small comfort in being able to at least say goodbye.”
