Helena Bonham-Carter sparked engagement rumours with boyfriend Rye Dag Holmboe when she showed off a sparkling diamond ring during a stroll in north London on Tuesday.
The 58-year-old The Crown actress showed off her quirky fashion sense in a colourful ensemble, sporting a long, floral skirt in red and nude paired with a mustard top with ruffles and mesh detailing.
She paired the casual look with a pair of black sneakers and a brown bag to carry her essentials.
The Harry Potter star accessorised with a long black phone pendant and an array of large jewellery, including a sparkling diamond on her ring finger, fuelling speculation that she and her boyfriend could be engaged.
Helena has been in a relationship with the art historian, 35, for six years following her split from film director Tim Burton in 2014.

However, speaking to the Daily Mail in March 2022, Helena said she was in no rush to exchange vows, noting: “I didn’t get married the first time.”
The actress, who once cited Vivienne Westwood and Marie Antoinette as her main style influences, wore her brunette locks up for her outing in the capital, finishing off her unique look with a green toupee and matching glasses.
Despite the weather in London reaching temperatures of almost thirty degrees, the actress opted to tie a black jacket around her outfit.
The movie legend was busy reading something on his phone as he enjoyed his walk in the sunshine, and at one point he put on his glasses to get a closer look.
Helena and her long-term partner, director Tim Burton, lived in connecting houses during their 13-year relationship, with each property decorated to his and her personal tastes and styles.
However, the Daily Mail’s Richard Eden reported in 2021 that she had made the decision to share a house with her academic boyfriend, even increasing their domestic bliss by adopting pet rabbits.
The couple met at a wedding in 2018, four years after Helena split from Tim.
Explaining how they met, she said: The Guardian“It was a totally random thing, and neither of us were there, so it was one of those moments that was pure chance and ended up determining a lot of things. It was a really happy accident and it’s an amazing thing.”
Helena has been in a relationship with the art historian, 35, for six years (pictured together in 2019) following her split from film director Tim Burton in 2014.

Referring to the 21-year age difference between the couple, the actress previously said in an interview with The times:
‘We all age at a different rate. My boyfriend is incredibly mature. He’s an old soul in a young body. What more could I ask for?’
“People are a little afraid of older women, but he’s not. Women can be very powerful when they’re older.”
