A grandfather who eats two blocks of cheese a day has gone viral after his “fed up” wife shared videos of his stomach-churning habit on TikTok.
Since he was a child, gardener and logger Mark King, 55, has loved cheese to the point that he can’t go a day without it.
Mark’s wife Tracey, 55, says she is “fed up” with the amount of cheese he eats, revealing her family spends around £140 a month on dairy products and around £1,600 a year.
The gardener has previously claimed he eats just 6kg of cheddar cheese a week, but insists he is still able to maintain a healthy physique due to his occupation.
When asked about her husband’s cheese cravings, Tracey told Mail Online: “He eats it day and night.”
It’s a pain in my side. He eats a block of cheese with his lunch and another as a snack before bed, but without cooked cheese.

Here’s a closer look at the block of cheese Mark eats every night before bed.
‘He has loved it since he was a child. I thought about 30 years ago he had too much cheese on his sandwiches, but I didn’t think anything of it.
‘It was just when I went on TikTok and I was live making him a sandwich, I had 2,000 views on my chat and everyone was going crazy about how much I was eating.
“We have asked the doctor if it hurts him, but everyone His blood tests came back fine. I had the perfect cholesterol. We say that the penicillin in the cheese has kept it in optimal conditions all these years.
When asked how much they spend on cheddar cheese, he added: “I’d like to say I’ve reduced it to about £5 a day. I couldn’t guess [how much it is a year] It will be an incredible amount.
“When I use cheese as a dip, I use about two or three packets, but that’s in the family.”
Tracey’s TikTok has attracted a lot of attention, and several of her videos in which she berates her husband for eating cheese have received more than five million views.

Another commented on TikTok saying: “I love the way he’s sitting there eating it like it’s a chocolate bar.”
A third added: “I love a piece of mature cheddar but I couldn’t devour a whole block like that.”
A fourth also joked: “The cost of living crisis doesn’t exist in this household.”
Despite the amount of cheese the gardener eats, his wife Tracey insists that he is perfectly healthy.
However, her husband’s eating habits have begun to bother Tracey, and she becomes increasingly frustrated by his addiction.
Commenting on Mark’s diet, Dr Duane Mellor, registered dietician at Aston University in Birmingham, said: ‘Although recent evidence has changed our opinion about cheese, in that although it is high in saturated fat, these do not appear to be the type that have negative effects on our cholesterol.
‘Cheese can be a good source of protein, calcium and vitamin B12. However, it is high in energy and often also high in salt, which can increase the risk of high blood pressure and heart disease.
“Also, if you eat a lot of cheese and not a variety of other foods, such as vegetables, fruits and legumes, as well as whole foods, your diet is likely to be low in fiber and this could lead to less regular bowel habits and a less healthy balance. of bacteria in the intestine.
‘Therefore, eating more than 1 or 2 matchbox-sized blocks of cheese will offer no benefit in terms of the nutrients they contain and may contain too much salt and calories.
“It is always best to try to eat a variety of foods and not focus on eating large amounts of one or two individual foods.”
Previously, Mark said Sun He consumes 22,513 calories of cheddar cheese each week, but he only weighs 14 and a half kilos.
He said Tracey will always include 400g of her favorite extra-ripe Cathedral City cheese on her sandwiches when she goes to work.
Then once you get home you eat a big dinner and then eat another 400g block of cheese before bed.
