Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ former assistant Suzi Siegel said she wasn’t surprised after seeing newly released footage of him violently assaulting his ex, Casandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura.
“There was not a single cell in my body that was surprised,” Suzi Siegel admitted after the appearance of the heartbreaking video in which the 54-year-old rapper attacks his ex-girlfriend.
She added that she was also not surprised by Ventura’s lawsuit settled in November, which included that incident, against Combs, although Siegel said she “never” saw him abuse the Me & You singer, 37, when she worked for him.
During her brief time as an assistant, Siegel, who worked for Diddy from 2008 to 2009, noted that she “didn’t observe anything that would lead me to believe” he was abusive, but said she believed he was “capable” of such horrible behavior.
She said cnn Friday that she “never saw him speak harshly to her or abuse her or anything like that,” but added that she now felt “sick and violently angry” about recent events.
And while Siegel wasn’t surprised, the embattled rapper is “shocked” the video surfaced, while Ventura was “triggered” to see it again, according to an exclusive report from DailyMail.com.

Prior to the former aide’s conversation with CNN on Friday, the outlet published disturbing surveillance footage from 2016 showing Combs, 54, violently assaulting Ventura at a hotel.
As Combs’ assistant, Siegel said he was “a lot” with the couple.
She explained that she had started working for Combs shortly after he began dating Ventura in 2007.
However, during the time she was employed by him, she said she herself did not experience any abuse or see him abuse his then-girlfriend.
“I rode in limos with them, I went to parties with them,” he recalls.
“I guess what I would say is that even though I never saw anything that would corroborate what’s in that lawsuit and what we just saw, there wasn’t a single cell in my body that was surprised,” he continued.
“I would say I was around him a lot and had an idea of who he was,” he said before noting that he “didn’t see anything that would cause him problems.”
Although she did not see the abuse herself, she said she believed Combs was “capable” of doing such shocking and terrifying things.
“I didn’t see that proof,” he admitted. ‘Obviously, I saw it today with the rest of America. But when I saw it, I knew it was something he could be capable of.”

Although she herself did not see the abuse, such as what was shown in the disturbing hotel surveillance footage, she said she believed Combs was “capable” of doing such shocking and terrifying things.
She added that she was not surprised by Ventura’s November lawsuit against Combs, although she said she “never” saw him abuse the Me & You singer when she worked for him.
Siegel said he believes there was a power imbalance in Combs’ relationship with Ventura and he took advantage of that.
“But I think there’s a power dynamic in a situation like that, especially her, at the beginning of her career, so young and beautiful and talented,” she continued.
Ahead of his conversation with CNN on Friday, the outlet released disturbing surveillance footage from 2016 showing Combs violently assaulting Ventura at a hotel.
Amid the outrage over the video, a source also exclusively told DailyMail.com that Diddy “is terrified of other damaging videos emerging after he was filmed punching his ex in a hotel hallway and is having conversations crisis with lawyers as their career implodes.
The footage backs up previous allegations Ventura had previously made in an explosive lawsuit he filed last November, which the exes ended up settling shortly after.
The shocking and disturbing images, for which the Los Angeles district attorney cannot prosecute Combs due to the statute of limitations, also emerged amid a sex trafficking investigation and multiple misconduct lawsuits against Combs.
