Dallas police will not file sexual assault charges against Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, his accuser’s attorney said.
Victoria Baleigh Shores accused Prescott of sexually assaulting her in the back of a pickup truck in 2017 following his rookie NFL season. It allegedly happened in the parking lot of Dallas strip club XTC Cabaret.
Prescott, who sued Shores over an alleged $100 million extortion plot in response, and his lawyers said the claims were false.
“We thank DPD for their efforts and this is in no way an exoneration of Mr. Prescott,” Shores’ attorney, Yoel Zehaie, said in a statement to FOX 4.
The Dallas Police Department found no evidence to support Shores’ allegations and the District Attorney’s Office says it has no case, WFAA reported.

Meanwhile, Shores and his attorney filed a motion this week to dismiss Prescott’s countersuit against him.
Zehaie told WFAA that the motion was filed because “we believe [Prescott’s filing] was intended to silence his sexual assault victim” and “is in violation of the Texas Anti-Slapp Statute which prohibits different forms of retaliation lawsuits.”
However, Prescott’s attorney, Levi McCathern, responded by calling the motion “totally absurd.”
Prescott had preemptively sued Shores and his two attorneys in March over an alleged $100 million extortion plot centered on the sexual assault allegation, which his attorney has characterized as “completely fabricated.”
In January, Prescott received a letter from attorneys Bethel and Yoel Zehaie on behalf of Shores, according to a lawsuit filed in Collin County, Texas, and provided to DailyMail.com by McCathern.
The letter contained the claim that Prescott sexually assaulted Shores in the back of a pickup truck on Feb. 2, 2017 after the two met on Snapchat.
“At some point, you, Ms. Shores along with two members of your entourage entered your black SUV style vehicle,” reads the letter to Prescott, which included her lawsuit against Shores. ‘You directed Ms. Shores to the back row so everyone could address [redacted].
‘On the way to [redacted] you exposed your genitals. Ms. Shores did not want to have sex and she made sure to verbalize her desires. Subsequently, the car stopped at her destination. Once this occurred, everyone got out of the car except you, and you signaled to one of your entourage members to leave you and Mrs. Shores alone.
In the alleged letter from Shores’ lawyers to Prescott, he gives him the opportunity to pay him $100 million.
“At this point, he used physical force and sexually assaulted Ms. Shores by penetrating her vagina without her consent.”
The letter informs Prescott that Shores is “willing to waive pursuing criminal charges, as well as releasing this information to the public, in exchange for compensating her for the mental anguish she has suffered.”
Prescott is then told that ‘Mrs. Shores’ damages are valued at the sum of $100,000,000.00′ and she had ‘until February 16, 2024’ to respond.
McCathern said in his statement that Prescott has informed authorities of the alleged extortion plot.
Prescott does not deny having sexual relations with Shores.
His filing explains that he was “single” at the time of the alleged assault and goes on to say that Shores’ behavior over the past seven years is “consistent with being involved solely in consensual actions with Mr. Prescott.”
“The fact that Mr. Prescott heard nothing negative about this alleged interaction nearly a decade ago is truly revealing of Defendants’ motives,” the filing reads.
Prescott does not deny having sexual relations with Shores, but insists she never expressed any concerns.
The countersuit is also valued at $100 million, although McCathern claimed Prescott would donate any prize money to the Joyful Heart Foundation, which helps victims of sexual assault.
Prescott, 30, led the NFL in touchdown passes last season before finishing second in MVP voting behind Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Prescott is entering the final season of his four-year, $160 million contract. He has earned more than $160 million in eight seasons in the NFL.
He and his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos, recently announced the birth of a baby girl.
